Roquelle I check my watch and it reads 9:00 P.M. Justin texted for me to come over so I could help him with whatever it is he needs help with.
I knock and the door is instantly opened.
"Hey! Thanks for coming,follow me" Justin says and I do as instructed.
We head downstairs somewhere and I'm shocked to that he has a whole recording studio in his basement. It was nice too,there's even a piano in here.
"Wow,your recording studio looks amazing" I compliment it as I look around.
"Thanks but I usually like to go to the labels because I'm around more people" he tells me. I just nod.
"Ready to get started?" He asks with a grin.
"Uh,yeah?" I say still not sure as to what he wanted me to help him with. We take a seat by the sound board.
"I've only written one song at the moment and it's called swap it out" he tells me as he presses a button for it to play.
As I was listening to the song I nod to the beat. It was really good and I never would've expected Justin to actually accomplish R&B but he did. When the song ends he looks at me waiting for criticism.
"What'd you think?" He asks.
"It's great ,you're really good at R&B. To be honest I actually like it better than your pop"
"Yeah I've always wanted to do this kind of music" he says smiling a little.
"Well you're amazing at it" I compliment him with a smile.
Narrator Justin loved being around Roquelle. She always had a positive vibe towards him. He wanted to kiss her instantly after she said that but he knew he couldn't.
Tyga was his boy but Roquelle deserved better.
"Why are you still with him?" Justin asks Roquelle out of the blue. (no pun intended)
"I don't get what you're asking" she lies trying to dodge the question.
"Why are you still with tyga?" Justin asks again.
"Because we've been together for over a year" Roquelle sighs.
"So?,it all matters on how he's treating you"
"Well when you're in a relationship for a long time you don't want to just throw it all away." she tells him truthfully.
"I just think you deserve better, that's all" Justin says leaning back in his chair.
"You don't even know what's going on in my relationship" Roquelle shakes her head.
"Trust me I know enough"
"Do you know something I don't?"
"No, I notice how he treats you though" Justin responds nonchalantly.
Roquelle just keeps quiet she felt that Justin knew something but he wasn't telling her.
"I should go" Roquelle begins to stands up.
"I'm sorry,I wasn't trying to make you uncomfortable"
"It's not your fault I just have to go clear my mind" Roquelle tells him. "Thanks though" she says before she walks back upstairs.
Justin just sighs. He wasn't trying to hurt her but he knows she deserves better and hates seeing her being treated like a side piece.
