"So why are we out here again?" Zorba pondered.

"Because the Goebies asked us to track down a Pathy Fruit? ... Pawnee? ... Pithy? ... Paulie? ..."

"Rildor, it's pronounced Pahtli."

"Thank you Spartok, ... a Pahtli Fruit."

"Those Goebies apparently also asked us to check up on other plants and stuff around the forest." Draikor chimed in.

Rildor shrugged, "Yes, that too ... so ... ANYONE FIND THAT PLANT YET!!!"

Most shook their heads no.

In the distance, they heard rustling sounds. "NO!" JG shouted back. "All we've found were some Airuts and bugs."

"Are they bigger or smaller than the ones back home?"

JG and Scythara came rushing around a corner and back to the main group, breathing heavily. Scythara pointed back the way they came "Give 'em a sec, and you'll see for yourself!" Just then, 3 very large insects that looked like beetles came into view. Everyone quickly shot at them with spells and arrows, Zorba finished off the last one with a well placed sword strike.

Zorba looked over the insect's remains, "Meh, they look about the same size to what I've seen before." A few others nodded their heads in agreement.

A few hours later.

"I swear, each time we come in here ... it looks different." The frustration was getting to Rildor.

"Well, we have managed to at least ... what was on that list?"

Scythara looked over her notes. "Let's see: A Fungus, A flower, some fungal growth that set off Draikor's allergies, a rock, a water pool."

"But no Pahtli plant?"

"Not yet."

Zorba looked back "So why exactly did we need to get this fruit again?"

"Well ... " JG thought back to what Trinks told them "apparently it has medicinal properties. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Goebies thought of it like a Purple Sweet, but were too afraid to come out here on their own." Everyone else laughed a little bit.

"So uhm ... what does this plant look like?"

Scythara reviewed her notes once again "Sort of like that purple plant over there" as she pointed to a strange looking purple plant "but a slightly different shade of purple."

"Oh, well that helps."

Draikor shouted out "Hey guys! I think I finally found it!"

Everyone rushed to his location. "Bad news ... it seems the closest thing to a path here is blocked by a spider web and some fence."

Zorba was gleeful "Guess was lucky I found this axe out here."

A few tried to start lighting the web with their tinderboxes.

"No no no ... that won't work. The webbing is too thick or something to light with this." Spartok tried to shoo them off.

Rildor pointed back up the path "I saw a fire pit back that way."

"Well Rildor, would you be kind enough to fetch a log from it. We could probably burn the web down with that." JG started to push him back up the path.

While they waited for Rildor ...

Draikor started to wonder, "So they call this the 'Nemi Forest', why is that? I mean, it doesn't really look like a forest."

"A forest on 1 world can't be that different from another." Scythara replied.

Zorba looked at the plants in detail "No, I'd say Draikor's right. The plants look like something I might see in a swamp or a jungle."

"One problem with that Zorba" as Spartok pointed to the ground "this area is mostly dry and very rocky. Almost desert-like."

"Forest. Swamp. Jungle. They could call this the Nemi Cacti Plant or Nemi Weed Infestation for all I care, I just want OUT!"

Back up the path, they heard Rildor shouting for help. Everyone rushed back to find a pack of sickly looking Airut closing in on him, but the arrival of so many, for once, scared off the locals.

JG helped Rildor to his feet "anyone else get the feeling that the locals don't really want us around?"

JG took the burning log from his hand "then let's get that fruit and get out of here before we disturb another nest or something."

With that, they burned away the web, chopped down the fence, grabbed the fruit, and ran as quickly as the could out of the Nemi Forest and back to Kanatah.
