Kuya and Dascoff found Hans on his daily walk around Lumbridge Castle.

"Greeting Hans!" both shouted in unison.

Hans recoiled in terror even though the two adventurers were in plain sight. "Don't sneak up on someone like that! You could have given me a heart attack!"

The two dismissed Hans' usual paranoia. "So we understand that Duke Horatio needs some help with ... err ... what was the problem again?"

Hans shook his head "Oh, you two are here about THAT? You must be number 43 or 44 to offer up to 'help'. But I doubt you'd be able to do more than anyone else."

"Why is that?"

"Well. I don't have the time to explain it, and the Duke is far too busy to explain it as well. Just head over to the nearby Crater. We have a few Guardsmen there, along with a Druid. The should be able to tell you everything you need to know. Frankly, I'm tired of explaining it."

Both wandered over to the Crater. In there, they a strange sight: a unicorn foal surrounded by fencing and barricades, with several Lumbridge Guardsmen on duty.

Dascof started to study the situation "Uh, excuse me Guardsmen, but what seems to be the problem? I mean, a unicorn ..."

"A baby unicorn!" Kuya added.

"Yes, a young unicorn ... it's not something that requires this much effort to deal with? Right?"

Guardsman Dante approached the pair. "Sirs, I'm going to have to ask you to step away from the creature!"

"Why Guardsman?" Kuya inquired.

"Well ... it's hard to explain ... even after saying it dozens of times .. and even seeing for myself ... "

Dascoff laughed "Oh come now, it can't be that bad? It's just a harmless little unicorn!"

Dante became incensed. "WHAT?!??! This creature is an utter abomination! An unholy terror! A veritable blight upon our lands!"

"But it's so cute and snowy white!"

Dante had to restrain himself. "Do you have ANY IDEA how much trouble this creature has caused since it got here?"

Both shrugged. "To be honest, no. We just got here ourselves. We heard about some problem and eventually even Hans directed us to here."

Dante started to calm down. "So the two of you want to help solve the problem?"

Both nodded in unison. "Well, yeah. It's kinda what we do. But ... uh ... what's so special ... or horrible ... about this little unicorn that all of you up in arms?"

"Perhaps I can answer that young ones." A druid approached the group. "You see, it would seem this unfortunate creature has been cursed."

Dascoff's and Kuya's mouths dropped wide open.

"No! Who would do such a thing? Kuya, we have to help!"

Kuya nodded "Yes, Dascoff ... we're going to try to help. But tell us Druid, what exactly is the curse?"

The Druid looked towards the Unicorn. "The poor creature is immune to harm and is bad luck."

"Wait. What? Like in you can't stab it or shoot it?"

"What do you mean bad luck? Like you trip and fall if you approach it?"

The Druid nodded.

"Then how exactly is this a problem?"

The Druid stroked his gray beard "You see young ones, this unicorn is out of balance. We're not sure what happened to cause the curse. It could have been a stray spell from a mage, or an intentionally cast dark ritual, or maybe even just some magic mushrooms ... either way, wherever this foal goes, not only does bad omens follow it, but no one is able to do anything about it. At first, the creature wandered into the Crater. Some of the locals tried to shoo it off, but each time they tried, something bad would happen: tripping, illness, pants falling down, hair loss, one person even morphed briefly into a chicken. Others tried getting a rope around it to lead the unicorn away, but each time the rope would miss or come unknotted, and soon enough the foal stopped walking altogether. Then, some wandering adventurers offered to 'help'. One tried to kill it with a sword, but after a number of slashes, the sword broke. Then the mage tried his hand. Spells seemed to miss by a hair, or you would just watch water spells splash on it and fire spells not leave a singe mark. Eventually, the elemental orb on the mage's staff seemed to explode on its own. The mage kept trying spells, then eventually the staff itself broke. Finally a ranger stepped in, but all of her arrows glanced of the foal's hide. Finally, the ranger's bow broke. I could never explain such a thing in my life."
