Yay! Random chapter for no apparent reason! It's up to you whether or not to read this chapter, since it's just a little extra I came up with while I was in school. I don't think it affects the story in any way, since it's a dream. And not an important one.
Anyways, hugs and cookies

I slowly opened my eyes to find myself lying on the lush forest ground. Sunlight was streaking through the gaps made by leaves, and I could hear birds chirping a distance away. How did I get here? I asked myself.

I got up and started to walk around, I noticed that I'm near the place where I built a tree house in a couple of years ago. I follow my instincts, and found myself right under said tree. Something feels off about it, so I climbed up the ladder hammered info the tree trunk and quietly pulled myself onto the balcony. Crouching down, I tried to hide along the walls. I knew it was futile since all the person, or thing, inside had to do was poke their head out, and they'll see me.

But I did it anyway.

"Ugh..." Suddenly, I heard a pained groan coming from inside. Curious, I quietly opened the door and peeked in. A man was lying on the floor slightly curled up, covered in scratches.

"Holy ship!" I gasped out loud. Realizing my mistake, I covered my mouth. As if that would help.

Instead of replying, the man groaned. Seeing the state that he's in, I just couldn't leave him here to bleed to death. Quickly, I went to the cabinets on the far side of the tree house and shuffled through the many things I kept there in case of an emergency.

"Wait here." I told him, like he could go anywhere while he was lying on the floor covered with scratches. How did he get up here? I wondered.

Taking a bucket to fill some water from the small stream nearby, I took one last look at him. From what I could see, he has messy black hair, sharp nose, a chiseled jawline, what I would call handsome features. Shaking my head, I climbed down the ladder.

Carefully going through the bushes and past the trees, I got to the stream. If I didn't have to go fetch a bucket of water for an injured person, I would take a dip and just relax. Filling up three fourths of the bucket, I carefully made my way back to the tree house. Though I might have spilled at least one fourth on the way back.

The man was nowhere to be seen when I returned to the tree house.

The bucket fell from my grasp and water spilled everywhere as I came to face a black wolf. Shock overcame me, and it took a moment for me to find my voice. "Y-you're a-a werewolf !"

The wolf slowly walked towards me, and suddenly made a leap towards me. I closed my eyes and held my arms up on a defensive position, and screamed.

Screaming my head off, I opened my eyes, and found myself back in my warm bed, with the blanket tangled around my body. Sweat was dripping down my hairline, and my breath came in short pants.

"Who's there?!" Grandma shouted before slamming the door open with a revolver in hand. "What's wrong?"

"N-nightmare... There w-was a man... Wolf... W-werewolf!" I stammered before I burst into tears.

"Shh... Shh... It's just a dream. I'll go get you something warm to drink. Just lie down for now." She said in a soothing voice, then went downstairs to get me a cup of something. Most likely hot chocolate.

As I guessed, she came back a few minutes later with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. I slowly took a sip, but the hot chocolate tasted kind of funny. Shrugging it off as nothing, I drank the rest without any more problems.

"Goodnight." Grandma kissed my forehead, "Sweet dreams."

I felt my eyelids slowly dropping, and soon I fell asleep again. This time, I didn't have any nightmares or dreams. In fact, the next morning I didn't even have any memory of the nightmare I just had.
