I was wondering around the backyard and finally found a comfy spot on the grass to lie down on. I here talking coming from Tyler's house and peek though a hole I created into the fence. I look through and see Tyler and his friend talking. "It's just that I really like her and I don't know how she feels.." Tyler says "Dude, seriously, just ask her out already!" His friend says. "Ok fine!" Tyler replies. He gets up and walks over to the fence which sends me bolting to where I was lying. He gave me about 1 minute to get comfy before he called my name. "Hey Bailee! How are you?" Tyler asks "Oh, hey Tyler. I'm good thanks, how are you?" I say "Good, I was wondering if you wanted to go out for a picnic at 12:30 at the park?" He asks. "Sure, I'd love to." I say. He pops back down and high-fives his friend and they walk inside the house. I knew what I was getting myself into, but if he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend, I'd have to be honest with him.
*skip to park/date*
Tyler and I sat on the picnic blanket he set up and opened his mouth "Um, Bailee? I know we just met and all but you are honestly the most prettiest girl I've laid my eyes on and you're so funny! Would you do the honours of being my girlfriend?" He asks getting to the point. Now thinking of it, it's actually harder to tell him the truth about Me and Chris already being together. "Tyler, I would love to be your girlfriend but I already have a boyfriend. Look, you're going to find a beautiful girl, one that's funny, and will cheer you up any time. I'm really sorry Tyler." I say "But you could be that girl! We could be happy together!" He says grabbing onto my and arm and making me shed a tear. "No, I can't and I'm sorry. We can still be friends if that makes you feel better."
I say getting up and walking home.
*skip to home*
I get into the house and walk upstairs to my bedroom. I lie on my bed and tell Chris what happened.
Bailee: Hey Chris. Something dramatic happened today...
Chris: Hi Bailee! I hope it didn't involve anyone getting hurt!
Bailee: it only involved one person getting mentally hurt. You know Tyler, my next door neighbour? Well he took me on a 'date' and asked me to be his girlfriend. I said I can't and that we're already together and then he asked again and I said sorry we can't but we can be friends.
Chris: Bailee, that's probably the sweetest way you could tell him that. Just letting you know, that guy's trouble. We used to be friends until he ditched me. He's a player. If he tries anything on you or hurts you tell me and I'll fix him up!
Bailee: Thanks Chris but he's actually a sweet guy. He's changed probably. Anyway I've got to go, bye xx
Chris: Whatever you say! Seeya beautiful xx
