After I explained to Dan about not going near the straight tormentors, we sat in the library and ate lunch. In silence.
Until.
'I think you're cute...' Dan almost mumbles. But I hear it. 'Really?' I say looking at Dan. The butterflies in my stomach were unexplainable.
He just nods and smiles at me. He's so beautiful. 'I think you are too....' I say looking down. 'What?' Dan says, confusion on his face. 'What?' I say back, damn why do I have to be so nervous about this. 'I said, I think you are too' I say looking away.
'What're you doing after school?' Dan asks. 'Nothing, how about you?' I ask being polite. 'Uhm... Well, I was gonna see if you wanted to hang out?' He asks, in a hopeful tone.
'Sure' I say, hiding my over excitement.
