Yesterday, I saw Ten Commandments which is different from the Holy Bible. So I decided to look up in Exodus Chapter 20 verses 1-17 to confirm my suspicion.

I was right. It has been changed.

Here is the original version of Ten Commandments written by the finger of God.

And God spake these words saying. I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Commandment 1
Thou shalt have no other gods before me (Exodus 20:3)

Commandment 2.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:4 6)
(Keluaran 20:4-6)

Commandment 3
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain (Exodus 20:7)

Commandment 4
REMEMBER the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy works: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day; wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:8-11)

(Keluaran 20:8-11)

Commandment 5
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee (Exodus 20:12)

Commandment 6
Thou shalt not kill (Exodus 20:13)
(Jangan membunuh (Keluaran 20:13)

Commandment 7
Thou shalt not commit adultery (Exodus 20:14)
(Jangan berzinah (Keluaran ,20:14)

Commandment 8
Thou shalt not steal (Exodus 20:15)
(Jangan mencuri (Keluaran 20:15)

Commandment 9
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. (Exodus 20:16)
(Jangan mengucapkan saksi dusta tentang sesamamu (Keluaran 20:16)

Commandment 10
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's (Exodus 20:17)

Since the Ten Commandments was written by the finger of God on two tables of stone, surely it must be very important. It's so important that He didn't even trust human to write it for Him (He could have asked Moses to write it down instead of Him)

But God didn't. Why? Because the Ten Commandments are the supreme laws of the universe.

The first Four Commandments deal with His relationship with us. And the next Six Commandments deal with our relationship with our neighbours.

The Holy Bible Says:
"Jesus said,,"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy mind. (Matthew 22:37) This is the first and great Commandment. (Matthew 22:38)

"And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Matthew 22:39)

And Jesus added,"On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets (Matthew 22:40)

Since the Ten Commandments cover every aspect of our life, then who are we that dare to say the Ten Commandments had been do away by Christ? And worst still, how dare we as human tampers with the Ten Commandments that was written by the finger of God Himself.

Jesus said,"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill (Matthew 5:17)

"For verily I say unto you. Till heaven and earth pass, one not or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:18)

"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:19).

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteous to every one that believers." (Roman 10:4)

Therefore, no matter what the world says, we, as Christians who follow Christ must keep the Ten Commandments for it is the complete reflection of His Moral laws as stated in Matthew 22: 37-39.

Lastly, one important question to all of us: During judgement day, which law do you think God will use to judge us?

The Ten Commandments or The World Religion laws?
