Liv's face breaks my heart. She is well near tears. I pull her close, burying my head in her chest.

"We'll be ok. We can figure this out," I soothe.

She calms down after a minute, and begins to play with my hair. We sit in silence, thinking. Eventually, she turns to me.

"So... We have to kill each other?" She asks.
"I... I guess."
"There has to be another way."
"I don't think that's how it works."
"But..."

I shut her up with a kiss. She kisses back passionately, and then I pull away.

"We need to figure out another way," she continues.
"Okay. Fine."
"What if we just... Don't kill each other?"
"We have to."
"No we don't."
"But... The prophecy..."
"Fuck the prophecy."
"I would rather fuck you."

Her jaw drops, and she pulls back slightly. I place my hand on her waist and smirk, leaning in. I then lean away, as her eyes trail from my face to my chest, and then dart back up as she realizes what she's doing. I giggle at her as she blushes.

I lace our fingers together, and then lean in to quickly kiss her nose. She flinches, and then pulls me in. I hug her back, and feel her muscles relax against my body. I burry my head in her chest, taking a deep breath and inhaling her sweet scent.

She kisses my forehead, and then pulls away. I look up into her warm blue eyes. They twinkle back at me, as gorgeous as ever. I take a few breath.

"Okay. Let's find a way around this."

Liv does a small dance on my bed, and I laugh at how adorable she is. She blushes, and stops.

"No... That was so cute," I say, grasping her hands.

She gives me a sheepish smile. I lightly kiss it as her face turns even redder.

"We need a plan," she whispers, attempting to get us back on track. At this point, I'm far too lost in her eyes to think about any stupid prophecies. I force myself to focus.

"Uh... Avoid killing each other would be a solid first step," I say.

She rolls her eyes.

"No shit, Sherlock," she responds sarcastically.

I sigh.

"Do you have any better ideas?" I retort.

She gently shoves my shoulder. I laugh, and lean in to kiss her. Just before we do, we are interrupted by a harsh knock at the door. We explode apart, nearly falling off the bed.

"C-come in," I stutter.

My mother opens the door and steps in.

"Camer- oh, I didn't realize you had a friend over. Um... Hi. Cameron, may I speak to you in the hall for a moment?"

I nervously glance at Cameron, and then join my mother in the hall.

"Do you feel it?" She asks, excitedly.
"Feel... What?" I respond, confused.
"There's light magic nearby."
"Okay... And?"
"It's powerful. I believe it is the pure born. This is your chance."
"Mom... I don't feel anything. I think we're fine," I say, hoping she doesn't figure anything out.

She sighs.

"Well... Alright. But... Be prepared. We must destroy the light borne."
"Okay. May I go?"

She nods, and I turn back into my room. Liv is still sitting on my bed, and opens her arms when she sees my downcast face. I allow her to hold me, as I bury my head in her chest.

"What did she say?" Liv asks tentatively after a moment.
"She doesn't know anything. She just sensed your light magic, but is completely oblivious to the idea it could be you."
"Okay. Good."

I nod and push Liv back onto my bed, so we can cuddle. She pulls me close, running her fingers through my hair. I lay my head on her chest, trying to relax.

"I can't lose you," I whisper.
"Don't worry. You won't."
