The New Boy

The Date

      It was right at 6:30 when I heard a knock on the door. I had just finished getting ready at first I wore a red short dress with my hair down, but then I remembered he said he was excited to see me geeked out so i pun on black jeans with a light blue crop top with my hair up and glasses on. I heard someone coming up the stairs and then a knock on my door. Why would alex knock on my bedroom door?? I open my door, and my mom is standing there. "Mom what are you doing? i thought you were at work.

 "I was but I got off early. There is a boy downstairs waiting for you. I didn't know you had plans tonight. What are you doing?"

 "Yeah his name is Alex hes new. And yes i do have plans with him tonight, but i don't know what we are doing."

"Is it a date?"

"Yes mom if you really want to know yes its a date."

"Honey... You can't wear that on a date."

"Mom he wants me to be myself not what everyone want me to be, so i'm wearing this."

"Okay sweetie be home before 1:00. Love you."

"Bye mom."

i rushed downstairs awaited by my mystery man whose name I know knew. We said our heys and walked out the door to his car. "So where we going?"

"No no no it's still a surprise."

"UGH still really i'll see what it is when we get there."

"No you won't" 

"Wait what?!?"

"Put this on."

It was a blindfold. I put it on and just sat there. We were in the car for at least 10 minutes or more till we got there. He came to my side of the door and helped me out. Then we started to walk. He slightly reached up and slowly pulled the blindfold off, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
