The New Boy

What to do

   So I just stayed in my room the rest of the night because I was to scared to leave my room. I heard a faint noise coming from the other side of my room. I jumped up as fast as possible and to my surprise it was my mom. I hesitated for a second but then decided i should probably answer it before she hangs up.

  " Honey..? Are you okay?"

  " Yes mom but how did you know?"

  " Your father called me and told me to come get you... I'll be there in 20 minutes. Be ready. Okay honey see you soon."

Great i'll be staying with my mom for a while. Its not like i'll be missing anything. She only lives a half an hour from here, but the problem was with my " stepmom " she doesn't like me. 20 minutes came and i was ready I didn't want to walk by my dad so i was as quiet as possible so he wouldn't hear me. Spoiler alert it didn't work. He heard my as soon as I left my room. He started yelling at me and said that it was my fault. It wasn't. Soon after that i walked out of the front door and right when i did my mom was there. I got in the front seat not saying a word. First it was awkward but at a red light my mom turned on a light and looked at my neck. I had two big black and blue spots on my neck from where his hands were.   

   The rest of the car ride was weird and I didn't know what to do so I just went on my phone. 30 minutes after getting in the car we were there.
