The New Boy

Prom

 The next couple of days I was planning for prom which was in 2 days. He didn't leave me much time to get ready. I asked my mom to take me dress shopping, but she was busy so she gave me 400 dollars for a dress and anything else I need. I got a teal dress that was flowy on the bottom. It was figure hugging at the top with a sweetheart neckline. The sweetheart neckline was embellished with diamonds. The middle of the dress splits in half at the bottom revealing a shorter dress. I got diamond studded silver stiletto heels. The last thing I got was a silver diamond clutch. In total I spent 350 but spent 20 dollars on lunch, so really I spent 370 dollars. My mom didn't need 30 dollars so just kept it. When I got home I put everything on together and OMG I looked so pretty.

Fast forward to two days to prom night. I went to the hair salon to get an updo then to the nail salon to get french tips on my fingers and my toes. I woke up at 10:00 and started getting ready I wasn't ready till about 4:00 and Alex wasn't coming till 5:00 for pictures.

It was about 4:50 and I heard a knock on the door. I was upstairs and I made my mom get the door so I could make a big entrance. I heard him talking to my mom so i decided to walk down. When he saw me all he did was stare at me.

"Wow you look gorgeous" Were the first word I heard.

"Thank you...You look great too"

He had on a black suit with his hair combed to the side. He had a blue corsage the he put on my arm. Then we took a bunch of pictures where you could see us both, and selfies. I posted one selfie and one picture where you could see both of us on instagram. Then we got in a really fancy limo and we were on our way to dinner. We ate at a weird chinese food place.

We got to prom and it was beautiful. It was in a ballroom. There were balloons everywhere and streamers. The color theme was black and white The principal said "So your dresses stand out" which I guess I get. There was a table with mine and Alex's name with some other people we didn't know,but we weren't going to do much sitting. We put our stuff down on the seat and then we hit the dance floor. We danced the night away whether it was a fast song or a slow song. They played my favorite song and Alex and I slow danced. The song was 'Can't help falling in love with you' By twenty one pilots. It was about 9 when we ate a slice of pizza and some candy. Then back on the dance floor. Most people say in a weird way "We danced the night away" but we literally danced the night away in a magical way instead of weird awkward way. We decided to leave at 11. And on our way home something awful happened...
