I didn't find out what the gender was. Right before the doctor said what I was having I stopped him. I told him to write it down so I could give it to my friend so she could throw a gender reveal party.
Luke was a little upset, but the party is next week so we don't have to wait that long.
*two hours before*
"Congratulations, you're having a..."
"Wait!" I shout
"What?" The doctor asks
"Could you write it on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope for me?" I asked sweetly while Luke was looking at me like I was crazy.
"No problem" he smiles
When the doctor leaves Luke just states at me, "what?" I ask innocently
"Why'd you do that?" He asked while smiling
"I thought that Margo would like to throw a gender reveal party, I know it would mean a lot to her" I smile
"I agree, and I'm glad that you have such a great heart. Which is one of the reasons why I'm head over heals in love with you" he blushes
"I'm in love with you too" I blush as well giving him a peck on the lips when the doctor walks back in.
"Okay so here you go Luna just like you requested" he smiled
"Thanks" I smiled back
Luke grabbed my hand and we left.
*present time*
I knock on Margo's door and she answers with baby Lily in her arms. I hand her the envelope. "What's this?" She asks
"Open it and find out. I can hold Lily" I smile. She hands my Lily and opens the envelope. She gasps and smiles "oh my gosh! You're having-" she starts "don't tell me" I quickly say cutting her off
"Ooh! I get to throw a gender reveal party for my best friend!" She squels
"I'm glad you're excited" I chuckled
"Okay, the party will be next week. Now give me back my baby and don't come back until I text you to" she playfully scowls
"Okay" I laugh as I hand her Lily back and leave.
*one week later*
'You can come over now' Margo texts me. I run, more like waddle, upstairs. "It's time for the party" I squeal at Luke as I pick out a bite light blue sundress. I put my hair in a messy French braid and apply light make up. Luke is wearing a light blue polo and khaki shorts. A.k.a he looks very sexy.
We arrive at Margo's and Luke knocks on the door. "Hey man" Shane says giving Luke a bro hug. Then turns to me and hugs me even though I'm pretty big. "Hey Delilah" he smiles
"Hey" I smile back
"Come in" Shane says stepping out of the doorway.
When I walk in my jaw drops. The are a lot of presents. Typical Margo though. She probably invited the whole pack.
"Hey guys! Okay so I was going to be doing a box with balloons or a piñata filled with colored confetti in pink or blue, but I decided to put the color dye in the cake. So it's either a blue cake or a pink cake" she smiles
"Okay" I laugh at her
"OKAY EVERYBODY! IT'S TIME FOR THE ALPHA AND THE LUNA TO CUT THE CAKE TO FIND OUT THE GENDER!" Margo shouts loudly getting everybody's attention.
Honestly I'm kind of nervous. I'm finding out if I'm going to have another son or a daughter.
I look over at Luke and he comes over to me. We walk to to cake and he puts his arms around me. We both put our hand on the knife and cut the cake together.
I gasp and tears fills my eyes and I see that the cake that I cut was pink. I'm having a baby girl!
I turn around and Luke kisses me passionately on the lips. "Looks like Chase might be a protective older brother" I cry
"Hey, Princess, what's wrong?" He asks lifting my chin
"I'm just so happy" I laugh as the tears keep coming
"I'm happy too" he kisses me again. The tingles shoot down my body like they always do and makes me shiver. Luke chuckles knowing that he has this affect on me. But I don't care.
