Chapter 21 // Cuties

Soon the nurse comes back in. "So what are you naming your son and daughter so we can print their birth certificates?" She asks
"We are naming them... Drum roll please... We are naming our daughter Kelly Ariana Gates and our son Finnley Ryder Gates" I say happily
"Thank you" the nurse says and leaves
"what happened to the middle name being Eric" Shane says pretending to be hurt
"I decided I like Ryder better" Luke says
"Yup and it sounds a lot better than Finnley Eric Gates" so maybe if you and Margo has a boy you guys can name him EricI say talking really quickly, I'm slap happy right now because I haven't had the chance to sleep and stuff

Soon I feel the crankiness coming on and my slap happiness going away. "guys I haven't gotten any sleep since I gave birth to the twins a few hours ago and it was like a nine hour labor, which I know is pretty quick, but I'm super tired" I say dragging on the word super
"Okay, we'll see you later! Love ya!" Margo says grabbing onto Shane's wrist making sure she doesn't drop Lily in the process
"Okay, we'll leave too. Have a nice sleep honey" mom says grabbing dad's wrist and picking up Chase and leaves

I wake up to Luke shaking me. I open my eyes and glare at him. "It's 4:00 so it's been twelve and a half hours since you gave birth so the nurse is going to be coming in so that she can give you your release forms and a wheel chair. I grabbed an outfit for Kelly and Finn and their carriers" he says kissing my forehead
"and you grabbed an outfit for me to wear right? because I'm starving and I'm not about to eat this hospital food" I say with tiredness obviously laced in my voice
"of course I did Princess, and don't' worry, I wouldn't either" he chuckles.

A nurse I don't recognise enters the room and hands me the release papers. Behind him another nurse is holding Kelly and Finn. They're in a really cute outfit. Kelly is wearing a pink dress and pink headband with a bow. Finn is wearing a onesie that says Ladies I Have Arrived and it has a bow tie printed on it.

When we get to the car Luke helps me out and I sit in the middle section in the middle. He then hands me the carrier that Kelly is in and I get her situated next to me while Luke does the same with Finn on the other side of me.

They are both cutely sleeping, except Finn is cuter because instead of a only in his mouth like Kelly, he is sucking on his thumb.

Soon we arrive at Wendy's and I'm excited. I unbuckled and Luke opens my door and grabs Kelly's carrier so that I can get out. Then when I'm out he hands me her carrier and goes to the other side to get Finn.

When we enter people try to look in the carriers to see what our babies look like. Then I remember that we are at a human restaurant. I hear people whispering saying that my babies are cute.

Then Luke orders his food and I order my strawberry fields salad since it's a summer salad. Then I order a small soft drink. I go over to the machine with the variety of coke products and get a cherry vanilla dr. pepper.

When I get home Kelly starts crying which makes Finn start to cry. I feed Kelly in my room, give her to Luke so that he can burp her. Then he hands me Finn and I feed him. Then I put a spit up cloth on my shoulder and burp him. Then him an Kelly fall asleep and I do the same. Only to be woken up four and a half hours later...
