In the perspective of Olive
"OMG OMG OMG!!!" Stella squealed. We ended up not studying at all. The minute I got back from the chemistry section, I shot a glance over at where Tyler was sitting. He caught my eye and I blushed while he smiled. Stella thought we had made out or something but I told her what really happened. Rachel was back at her dorm so Stella and I went there. After spilling the story, Rachel and Stella were jumping together, hand-in-hand. I just sat on Rachel's bed and rolled my eyes. "It's just his phone number, it's not like he asked me to marry him or anything," I said. "BUT, he did come up with a totally adorable way to give it to you," Rachel shot back at me. I crashed onto the bed. "Ugh, whatever you guys," I said. Rachel and Stella got on both sides of me. "You need to get to know him more," Stella said. "I dare you to text him," Rachel proceeded. I shot straight back up. "Uh, no no no no, he'll think I'm desperate," I argued. Rachel shrugged. "I'm telling you, the earlier you start talking, the sooner the relationship will get going," she said. I sighed. "I don't know guys, maybe. I'll text you if I do text him. But as of now, I'm gonna go take a shower and get some rest," I told them. Stella stood. "Same here, fam." I got my things, told the BFFLs bye, and headed for my dorm. I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I was about call my mom, since I promised her I would every Tuesday, and bumped into someone. "Oh my gosh, I'm so-," I started to say but looked up and saw it was him. Tyler. THE Tyler. This time, HE blushed a bit. "A-Are you ok?" he asked me, a little nervous, I could tell. He pushed his fingers through his hair. His beautiful chestnut hair. I quickly got back to my senses. "Oh, uh, yeah, I'm fine," I replied. He smiled even wider and stared straight into my eyes. I was about to say bye when he said the most astonishing thing; "Come here. I want to show you something."
In the perspective of Tyler
After telling Julian all that happened, and after the both of us bragging about my success, we decided to call it a night. "Hey, you should text her," Julian told me, as we walked out of the library. I shook my head. "She'll think I'm some sort of rapist or something," I replied. Julian sighed. "I'm telling you, the earlier you start talking, the sooner the relationship will get going," he said, acting like some therapist now. "You know what you should do, Julian? Get into acting," I told him. Julian laughed like it couldn't kill him. "Aw, man, you're funny," he finally said. I shook my head. " G'night," I said. He nodded and we went our own ways. I was getting close to my dorm hall when I noticed how dirty my shoes were. I looked down at them for a while, putting a note in my mind to clean them. The minute I looked up, I bumped into someone. Not just any someone. THE someone. MY someone. Olive, I think her friend said. Since it was her I bumped into, I blushed and it made me a little nervous. "A-Are you ok?" I dorkily asked. It took her a while to answer. She looked so beautiful standing there, with her perfect face and all. "Oh, uh, yeah, I'm fine," she finally said. I was about to say bye or something when I remembered. My special place. "Come here. I want to show you something," I nervously said, surprised she let me take her hand. Now all she had to do was trust me.
