In the perspective of Olive
It was 2:00, in a good girl's perspective, pretty late for a 6 o'clock date. I was waiting for my friends to come over. They were supposed to be here by 1:45. At the mall the day before, we found a chic blue dress with pink, red, and yellow floral patterns. It was strap dress and right on my knees. We bought some cute red flats to go with it. We decided that my hair would be down and I would borrow a red clutch from Rachel. I would wear gold jewelry also. Stella already had all my makeup in mind. Finally, at around 2:20, they showed up. "Where have you guys been?" I scolded them. They hustled into the room and dumped all of their supplies and my clothes on my bed. They didn't say anything and immediately started to peice together my outfit. I felt like a mannequin. After 3 and a half hours, I was completely ready.
Rachel's face was colored with different make up shades, she looked like a rainbow pop. Stella's bun was a bit messy from all the work she was doing. My dress had to be tightened a little so that took about an hour for her to fix. Then, my hair was another story. At first, we were going to put it down, but it looked a little weird and it covered the makeup. So we tried many other hairstyles before we decided on a cute actress-style loose bun. We were doing touch-ups when someone knocked on my dorm room door. Stella and Rachel suddenly started to fix my dress up. "Look at our baby girl, all grown up," Stella said, sarcastically. I rolled my eyes. "Go get the door. We'll be waiting for you here," Rachel said, pushing me towards the door. "I love you guys, thank you!" were my final words to them. I took a deep breath and opened the door. Standing in front of me was the guy of my dreams. He was wearing nice, dark jeans, a tight fitting navy blue shirt, a black leather jacket, and black shoes. Suddenly, I felt like I overdressed, but I realized our outfits looked cute together. His eyes stared at me and a felt a good chill down my spine. His white smile and I knew it would be a great night.

I was so nervous, preparing myself for the night. I had no idea what to wear or if I should bring her anything. I finally decided on a nice dark outfit that would bring out my eyes. I put my keys and wallet in my pocket and ruffled my hair a bit. I put a little cologne on to impress her. I took a deep breath as I looked at myself in the mirror. I was ready. She texted me her dorm room number earlier that morning so I was able to get there pretty fast. I stood in front of her door for almost 5 minutes. I finally got the courage to knock. About a minute later, she opened the door. She looked so beautiful in that dress of hers. When she put her hair up, it brought her face out and I thought she looked so cute with her hair like that. I couldn't help but smile. When she blushed and smiled while looking me in the eye, I could tell it was going to be a great night.
