I woke up in a hospital bed. There were 4 figures staring at me. One was my mom. The other was my boyfriend, Luke. My friend Emily and my Coach were there too. I tried to sit up but then, I felt a rush of pain go through my head. I groaned and then laid back down. "You're a very lucky girl," the doctor said, "That fall should've killed you," I feel dead. My head hurts and I'm sore everywhere.
"What happened?" I asked, "Oh God, Where am I?"
"You're in the hospital young lady," the doctor replied.
"How long have I been out?" I asked.
"Two weeks," the doctor said.
"TWO WEEKS?!" I yelled as I tried to get up but groaned in pain. I sat back down.
"Just give it some rest, ok?" the doctor said.
"Ok," I said as I got up and walked out of the room. Coach and my mom were talking in the room. Emily and Luke were with me in the lobby. "Are you ok?" asked Emily.
"Yeah," I said. And I meant it. Sort of.
"Hey Em, Can I talk to Riley," asked Luke.
"Sure!" Emily said. She didn't move.
"Alone." said Luke.
"Oh okay! I think my mom just texted me to come home. See you guys later!" said Emily as she left the building.
