The day after the party, I walked to Emily's house to walk with her to school. But when I got there, I saw Emily leaving with Teresa, another girl in my school. "Em?" I said.
"Oh hi Riles," Emily said angrily.
"What's wrong?" I asked, "Why are you mad at me?"
"You ditched practice last night!" said Emily, "Had fun at Sabrina's Party?" I turned red. Emily knew just how to get on my nerves. Luckily, I knew how to get on hers.
"You're just jealous that I was invited!" I shot back. Emily was steaming mad now.
"You're just a popular, back-stabbing witch!" Emily yelled.
"You're just a unpopular, jealous wannabe!" I yelled.
"I AM SO DONE WITH YOU RILEY PARKER," yelled Emily.
"WE ARE SO OVER EMILY ROSE," I yelled. Emily grabbed Teresa and walked away. I walked away angrily with my head held high. As soon as I got to my locker, I went to see Luke like I do every morning. But, Luke looked slightly annoyed when I walked up to him.
"Hi Luke!" I said cheerfully, but he just rolled his eyes at me. "Something wrong?" I asked.
"You ungrateful cheater," he murmured between clenched teeth.
"Are you mad at me or something?" I asked. He looked really sad and mad.
"I gave you EVERYTHING," Luke said, "And this is how you repay me? CHEATING on me?!"
"No! You don't understand!" I said, "He kissed me against my will"
"Right," Luke said sarcastically, "That's what they all say,"
"You don't TRUST me?!" I said angrily.
"Why would I?" he said, "You cheated on me!"
"Ryan was right! You never cared about me," I said angrily as I stormed off.
"WE'RE OVER!" Luke yelled.
"GOOD!" I yelled, "I NEVER LIKED YOU ANYWAY!" I stormed off angrily, shut myself in a bathroom stall, and cried.
