After Science, I was walking to my locker to drop of my binders when I was stopped by Emily.
"Ready?" Emily asked. I usually sit with Emily at lunch at the jock table.
"Em, I can't sit with you guys today," I said.
"What? Why?" Emily asks.
"I got invited to sit with The Sequin Girls today," I said, "I hope you don't mind," Emily still looked like she had just been punched in the stomach.
"Oh, I don't mind at all," Emily said bitterly as she stormed of.
What's her problem? I thought as I walked to The Sequin Girls table.
"Hi!" said London.
"Hi," I replied.
"So what's up?" asked Amanda.
"Nothing much," I said.
"Doing anything this Friday?" Sabrina asked me.
"No, why?" I said.
"Well, I'm having a party on Friday night at my place if you wanna come," Sabrina said.
"That sounds cool!" I said, "I'll be there,"
"Awesome!" London said. Pretty soon, we were talking and joking around like old friends. We even walked to class together!
"Bye Bye Riles!" said Amanda as I headed off to math.
"Bye!" I replied, "See you tomorrow night!"
