I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright
But it's never enough

You looked down at the cement ground below the balcony. It was probably about a 50 foot drop down. Would it hurt to jump? You wondered how Dave would feel if you jumped. Heck, he'd probably feel better. He wouldn't have to constantly worry about you cheating on him, even though it never happened....he wouldn't have to worry about you at all.

Before you did anything though, you wanted to show Dave the devotion you had to him. On your arm, you cut I LOVE DAVE with a razor. You put the razor down, gently on the table and watched the blood ooze from your arm.

You stood up on the balcony, smiling. You remembered when you lived at the dump, you constantly thought of the moment you would die. You constantly thought how all the pain and misery would simply go away. Then, Dave came along.

He gave you happiness.

Then more misery.

So now, you'll put yourself out of misery. For Dave.

"For Dave." you said as your body titled off of the balcony and gravity did it's work.
