"Gotcha!" Simon shouted, grabbing my leg, causing me to slip back down the slide.

"Hey!" I shouted, laughing, and then tried making my way back up.

We're so childish.

We were having a competition to see who could run up the slide, in our socks.

I was about to grab Simon when he came sliding down and crashing into me.

I don't know how, but I ended up in Simon's arms. We looked at each other, then burst into laughter.

He pulled me in closer and rested his chin on my shoulder.

A warm, happy feeling ran through me, to my heart. I could feel a huge smile appear on my face.

We sat in silcence for a bit. It was early, Sunday morning, there was no one arround to disturb us.

"If someone sees us they're just going to thing we're weirdos." I said, breaking the silence.

"So?"

"I don't know...they won't be disturbed or something?"

Simon turned me round so I was facing him.

"Stop caring about what people think of us. Ok?"

"Ok."

He smiled, then leaned forward and nudged my nose with his.

"Now are we going to finish this race?" He asked.

"I'm tired." I said, sighing, and leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Come on." Simon picked me up.

"No no no Simon put me down!" I screamed, laughing.

"I thought you were tired?" He said with a smirk on his face.

He put me down on a bench, and sat down next to me.

I was really enjoying the silence, the emptiness of the park, and Simon's presence. Especially Simon's presence. I saw him all day every day, but since we started to have feelings for each other, everything felt...special.

He put an arm around me, and I rested my head on his chest.

"Is this what all of our dates our going to be like?" I asked.

He chuckled. "I can't see myself taking you to a fancy restaurant or something like that."

"Me neither."

"But this is nice. Just the two of us."

"Mhmm." I agreed.
