Chapter 2

Elle woke up Monday morning in time to have breakfast with her sister and Joe, knowing Kate was going back to work today.

Kate worked at fosters and sons, she was the secretary at fosters and sons logging company.

Elle knew Kate loved it there and worked 6 days a week 9 till 5 , with Kate's only day off being Sunday's,  Elle knew she needed to start looking for a job today.

Elle didn't want to be home alone bored all day with no one to talk to, there's only so much laundry, cleaning and day time TV she could stand before wanting to pull her hair out.

Going down the stairs in her pyjama shorts and top not wanting to miss them by having a shower first , she saw Kate had made pancakes, eggs and bacon.

" Morning guys , breakfast smell good ".

"Hey sweetheart , grab a plate , plenty left " said Joe 

Joe always looked smart in his uniform with dark green pants , brown belt with a gold buckle  , beige long sleeved shirt with rangers badge attached to the arm and chest of his shirt.

" Honey coffee's in the pot , should still be hot "

Elle smiled a thanks at them and picked up some bacon , eggs and a cup of coffee and sat down to the table .

" So Ell's what have you got planed for today " asked Kate

" Well I was thinking once you guys go, I would check in on Kim make sure everything's fine back home , then take a shower and pop into town see about that job "

 " Sounds like you've got your day planed out " said Kate .

" You have both our numbers just in case , I'm off to work you lovely ladies have a good day " Joe said then got up pushed his chair back under the table gave Elle a one arm hug and moved to Kate , cupped her face in his hands and put his lips to hers in a sort sweet kiss before saying " later babe" and off he went.

Kate looked to see Elle was watching Kate with a big smile on her face.

" Your so lucky Kate that man is still so in love with you "

Kate replies " don't worry your prince charming is still out there just waiting"

Elle huffs " I don't think so Kate have you seen the men I attract there either losers or cheating arseholes , so I don't hold out much hope, I'd like a good honest man like you have , no game's no hidden agendas , so I'm off guys for a while until I meet my prince " she laughs.

After they spend another 5 minutes just chatting about what bar to try first Elle promises that the biker bar will be last on her list of stops , Elle tells Kate she'd like to cook dinner that evening as a thank you for letting her stay.

" That's fine with me if you cook it means I don't have to " Kate smiles.

Kate left for work and Elle rang home.

The phone rings and a annoyed Kim answers the phone.

" Hello, if this is you again Adam I swear to god I'll cut your balls off and feed you them ! "

" Hey Kim its me , what's going on Kim ? , don't tell me Adam's still ringing ?"

" RINGING , RINGING , he's doing more then just ringing, I come home and he's OUTSIDE , I go out and I see HIM , he wants to talk to you , he says you owe him more then you just saying its over , he wants you to listen to him about what you saw said its nothing and your over reacting ".
