The time of day was just past noon as Obi sat in a tree, twiddling with Alice's flute bored. His body lent so far to one certain side that with one break of concentration, gravity would yank his body to the hard ground about 10 feet below. He sighed.

"Everyone has something to do, and all I get to do is be bored. The guards are 'busy' and I can't find Master anywhere in this maze of white walls." His words were said in a monotone, slurred voice as his boredom was making him drowsy in the warm sunlight and slightly breeze. It was a beautiful day, only a few clouds were seen in the bright azure sky, white as Zen's hair and the sun was just as bright as it normally was. The normal buzzing around the castle was not loud, but not quiet, and it relaxed him to recognize the sounds and know it was peaceful in the Clarines capital.

"OBI!" His lidded eyes were snapped open and he jumped as his body slide to the side and his back hit the ground. He winced as a figure came and stood above him, their head blocking the sun's bright rays from his sight. Obi grinned as he sprung to his feet and dusted himself off. He placed Alice's flute back into his jacket, where he deemed is its rightful place, and laced his fingers together behind his head.

"To what do I owe the pleasure Master~" Zen tapped his foot impatiently on the grass with Mitsuhide and Kiki running to his side behind him. It was unusual to see them so far behind. "In a hurry or something Master?" Obi questioned as Zen pinched his brow and sighed in annoyance.

"Yes, well we ARE trying to figure out where our dear friend has run off to?" Obi blinked a few times confused. Zen reached into his pocket and removed a small piece of ripped paper that was folded in half. Handing it over to the ebony haired male, he opened it and began reading. As Obi read his calm face, turned to one of shock then of just pure annoyance. His brow twitched as one could've sworn they could hear his patience snap like a twig under weight.

"I'm sorry Master, my eyes must be going. But, I could've sworn this said 'Let's play,' signed by the Little Red in the recovering room." Zen through his hands to his head and shouted in irritation.

"That's exactly it! Alice is hiding here somewhere and I've been looking for the past 2 hours! I can't even find a path to start me off! Gahhh!" Zen ranted to the air, shouting and making gestures to emphasize his annoyance and, oh boy, he was lighting up like a firecracker. The only difference between the two, would be a firecracker at least has many colors to show for it's fuse, Zen however only displayed his red-anger laced-face. Not a very colorful display of that of a firework, but just as amusing to watch. Kiki piped up once she and Mitsuhide came to Zen's side and Mitsuhide dealt with a fuming Zen a few feet away.

"We've only just checked the most reliable places. She's a nimble person, so she could be going from place to place or hiding in one area we wouldn't think of. You know her best Obi, where would she go?" Obi cupped his chin as he thought. he started naming places off that popped in his head like a spare room in the pharmacy, or around the armed guards and their quarters, every place he listed Kiki had confirmed to have been investigated. He sighed, he could practically see in his imagination the image of Alice running around, in her, little-to-nothing attire, smiling and taunting them on how she is so skilled as hiding.

They had been looked for over 3 hours. Wherever the hell Alice was, Obi was going to be sure to congratulate her on her victory as well as scold her from being out of medical reach for so long. He grew paranoid, for all he knows, she was curled in and suffering from her injuries. 'What is she is unconscious? What is someone found her already and won't tell us where she is? What if..' Thought after thought ran through his head and it eventually wandered to when he first saw her in that mask and black wig, then it hit him. His eyes widened and he stopped in his tracks. Zen, Kiki and Mitsuhide were still at his side and along the way, Shirayuki had joined the search because she wasn't there when she was to go and check on her.

"Obi? What's wrong?" Mitsuhide asked on behalf of his companions.

Obi bounced back and before he turned and ran back out into the courtyards and away from the group, leaving them with his sentence muttered behind his hand lingering in the evening air. "I know where she is.."

----------------------

Obi ran around the courtline until he found the courtyard where Alice 'dropped in' on him the first time. He ran to the exact spot where he stood that day and turned to face the castle walls before cupping his hands around his mouth and projected his loud voice.

"I FOUND YOU ALICE!!" He huffed as he looked up to the roof of the building. Stand there, looking over the edge, the evening sun outlining her figure was Alice. Her loose scarlet hair blew in the wind from above and she then proceeded to jump off. Obi, though, was ready for this. As she fell, her hair blew above her body and her arms reached out to Obi as his arms reached to her and he successfully caught her, spinning a circle to steady his catch. Alice's feet touched the ground as she grinned and laughed up at Obi. Obi released her from his grasp and lightly flicked her forehead, Alice flinching slightly.

"You really are an idiot. Who in their right mind goes out and scales a building this size with these injuries?" Obi scolded her and she knew she worried him so she only smiled and ruffled his head, much to his dismay. She crossed her arms behind her back and turned away from him.

"This is my way of showing I'll be okay. I'm sorry I worried you. I won't do it again." Alice turned her head as her hair rested on her bare shoulders and against her back, flashing a small smile and her eyes narrowed. Obi then took into account she wasn't wearing much, and there are still guards around, and just them looking at her in this state made his stomach churn. He removed his short sleeved jacket and draped it around her torso. She blinked up at him, surprised.

"It's not much, but it's better than viewing your undergarments Little Red~." Alice's cheeks flushed a tinted hue and she slipped her arms through the sleeve holes, then something hit her chest. Looking in the pocket, she saw her makeshift flute she carved on a whim that day in the forest. She was shocked Obi even had it, much less kept it. She smiled and decided it wouldn't hurt for him to hold onto it for her. Obi then escorted her back into the castle and to her room when Zen ranted, Kiki chuckled, Mitsuhide scolded her whilst also calming Zen and Shirayuki only hugged her and told her she was happy she was safe. Obi stood beside Alice the whole time that evening, once again, staying with her until she eventually fell into her peaceful slumber, Obi's jacket still draped along her shoulders.
