Chapter 6: Oh Boys

I woke up the next morning not even in bed. I was in the sitting area outside my room along with my roommates.

"Guys......guys......GUYS!!!!!" I scream. They then all pop up mumbling things.

"Why aren't we in our beds?" Hanna asked.

"I don't know. Why don't we just head into the lounge and eat some breakfast." Aria said.

"Anything that includes food sounds good to me." I said.

"Same." They all said at the same time. We all laughed. Then we headed out the door and went to the lounge. When we walk in, we see Gale, Scott, Al, and one other guy that I didn't know.

"Oh, hey sis." the prince says to Hanna.

"Hey Philip." she said. Hanna was right about her brother, he was a pretty good looking guy.

"So is that a new style that's sweeping the nation? Or do you girls just have bad taste in fashion?" Gale asks. We were still in our pajamas. And to add to this, Hanna and I were wearing our glasses.

"For your information Gale, Iz likes to wear her pajamas and glasses to breakfast. Then she puts on her daily contacts and changes into her normal clothes." Al says. I smile at him.

"Yeah well at least she has good taste in her first kiss." Philip said winking at me. Scott then hit him on the shoulder. "Dude, calm down." he said to Scott.

"What are you talking about? Iz has never had her first kiss." Al said.

"Oh you mean Scott didn't tell you. Him and Iz kissed last night. And it was her very first kiss." Gale says. Then I walk over and give him a slap on the back of his head.

"Guys, I told you not to tell Al." Scott said.

"Sorry dude. Sorta slipped out." Gale said. Al had an experesion of horror on his face. Did he really dislike Al that much?

"You two...........kissed?" he asked. We slowly nodded. He looked down to the floor. "Can I talk to you in private Izzy?" he asked. I nodded my head and walked over to the hallway followed by him.

"Why are you so mad about this?" I asked. I could always tell when Al was upset with me. He would never make eye contact with me or anyone.

"Because you're my best friend and he's my half-brother. Plus, I thought you said that you wanted me to be your first kiss so you pretty much lied to me. Your best friend!" he said.

"Well, I went to go look for you and Gale said that he saw you by one of the oak trees. I walked up and said your name to this guy and he didn't move. I thought you were mad at me. Then the guy turn slowly towards me and kissed me. The moment he kissed me I knew it wasn't you because he didn't go straight for my waist. I'm so sorry Al." I said. I had tears in my eyes. I didn't want to lose Al as a friend. He meant so much to me.

"What exactly are you trying to do Isabelle? Do you like playing with my emotions?" he asked with tears in his eyes. I couldn't stand to see Al cry. I began to come in, but then I take a step back.

"I don't know what you mean. You and me are best friends Al. I know what makes you upset and this shouldn't be that big of a deal to you." I said.

"Of course it a big deal to me Isabelle! Its your first kiss! And as your best friend I think its best if you don't talk to Scott while I'm around." he said. I wanted to tell him. I wanted him to know about my crush on Scott and what I thought about last night, but I knew it would only make him more jealous. So instead, all I told him was 'okay'. He came close to me and I held my breath. "Isabelle, I know its hard for you to understand right now, but I promise you that I will explain one day." he said. I pulled away crying.
