Chapter 8: Coffee and Advice

*two weeks later*

I walked into the school's cafe waiting for Gale. He said he wanted to talk to be about somethings. It's been almost two weeks since school started. Since I began to attend RPA. Aria, Kristin, and Hanna have become my new best friends. We meet up everyday after class to do homework and talk about the drama that had happened that day. As for my boy drama, still unsettled. Al and I are still talking and he still likes me, I just haven't accepted his offer of a date. As for Scott and I, things are a little complicated. We haven't talked since the elevator kiss.

It was Tuesday in November. One of the best things about going to school in South Florida is that it doesn't snow. It becomes a little cold, but no snow. I didn't have any classes on Tuesday and neither did Gale. Usually since we're the only two from our group of friends that have Tuesdays off, we hang out. I wonder what he wanted to talk to me about. Then, I get an email. I look down and check the email on my phone.

Hey sweetie! So, for the holidays, you are coming home. Yay! It will be the first time you visit Jendle. Because all RPAs are out for the holidays, we've decided to invite some of the potential finalists to stay with us. There are six of them. I believe you will be very happy with one of them. Anyway, your flight leaves tomorrow. Oh, and we invited your roomates. You know, so you have people there supporting you other then your father and I. They will be leaving with you tomorrow. After that, we will have two days to prepare the palace for the princes. Your friends, the princes, and you will be in Jendle for two weeks. Love you,

I kept reading the email over and over again. My friends were going to my........palace? It still feels weird saying that. I couldn't believe it. This was going to be the first time I meet my potential husbands. Man, I could already feel the pressure.

"Um........Izzy? What's wrong?" Gale's voice shocked me.

"Oh nothing. Just........arrangments my parents made for the holidays. Anyway, why don't you have a seat." I said gesturing to the open seat in front of me. He said down in it and took a sip of his coffee. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" I ask.

"Al and Scott." he said.

"I can't do this." I said beginning to stand up.

"Izzy wait! Please, I want to give you some information that I think you should know." he said. I stood there frozen for a few seconds before I sat back down. He then sighed.

"The first thing you should know is that Scott still likes you. A lot. And him and Al always talk about you. Scott thinks that you're mad at him. That's why he hasn't been talking to you because he thinks he upset you and doesn't want to make up more upset. Izzy, I know this must be hard. I mean, I can tell you like both of them a lot. But, maybe you should start talking to Scott again. I mean, I know you're leaving tomorrow for Thanksgiving and Scott is leaving to be with his family the day after. Maybe you should talk to him today. As for Al, I think you should tell him about your feelings for Scott. I mean, he's been driving himself crazy trying to figure out why you won't go on a date with him if he likes you and you like him. It'll be better for him to know the truth." Gale said.

"I'll talk to Scott today, but I can't tell Al about my feelings for Scott. He would never talk to me ever again. I mean, Al hates Scott. Although, I wish they could just get along." I said.

"Actually, they've been getting along. Scott told Al that for the sake of you, they should try to get along." Gale said.

"That's great! But how do you think it'll effect their friendship if I tell them both about my feelings about the other. Well, Scott knows about my feelings for Al........I think. But Al has no idea about my feelings for Scott. I don't want him to get mad at Scott or I." I said.
