Pulled From The Darkness - Kylo Ren X Reader

Part 3

Phasma prepared a ship for you to take. Since the base isn't finished being built, the current security system is a bit weak. Phasma has called a meeting with Hux and his men, which will keep them busy while your ship leaves the base. Right now you are packing a bag to take with you, in case you spend the night in the ship on D'Qar. Earlier Phasma said she would have offered to come with you, since it would be safer for someone else to pilot the ship since you're pregnant, but part of you is a little happy that she has to stay and cover for you while you're gone. This way you'll get some alone time with Ben.

The blue light on your communicator is blinking, the signal that Phasma has everyone distracted. You put your hood over your head, your long black robes making you resemble a shadow. With your bag hidden, you make your way quickly through the base, avoiding the rooms close to the one Phasma is holding the meeting in.

You board your ship, taking off as soon as you can. You're feeling very tense in the moments it takes you to get out of sight from the base, but once you get far enough, you start to feel at ease.

After putting the ship in autopilot, your mind starts to wander. Memories rush to greet you, like the day you first knew you had fallen in love with him. It was back when he was training you. You got up early that morning, like you did every morning to practice the training exercises he showed you. He had you practicing on your own that day, working on your fighting techniques and learning how to use the force. Training really tired you out, and after dinner you went to your room to call it an early night. But before you go to bed, you hear a knock on your door.

You open your door, and there he is. Your mentor. Your friend. "Come in, Kylo. I was just getting ready for bed."

He walks into your room and since it's a small room with little seating, he sits on the edge of your bed like he usually does. "How was your day?" He asks, and he's smiling. You're one of the only people who get to see him smile.

"I've had a good day." You say, sitting next to him on your bed. "I'm a little worn out, though."

"I can tell. You usually don't go to bed until nine." As he speaks, you admire all his facial features; The freckles on his cheeks, the bridge of his nose, his eyelashes, his lips. "You've worked so hard today. I'm very proud of you."

"I'm so grateful that I have you as a mentor." You scoot closer to him, only a few inches. "You make me feel important."

"You are important to me." He says, his voice significantly softer, his eyes glancing down at your lips. You lean in closer, non-verbally telling him that it's okay. He glances back up at your eyes and he stares for a moment, seeming hesitant. For a second, you're not sure if he's going to do it. But then he tilts his head forward, your lips pressing together to form your first kiss.

When the memory leaves your mind, you try not to be saddened by it. It's a beautiful memory, but they always come with a bittersweet aftertaste, because you're reminded that things aren't like that anymore. On the base, you don't have time for memories. Your body is already weakened at this time, and you can't let the memories weaken your mind too.

Before you know it, you have to switch the autopilot off to land the ship on D'Qar. Your stomach is filled with butterflies, as if there's room for them. His ship is there, in the same spot where his mother's once was only eight months ago. Just the thought of seeing his face again or feeling his arms around you makes you want to cry, thanks to the hormones and heightened emotions you have.

You look out of the window and there he is, walking out of his ship. Before you walk out of your own, you decide to take off your robes. Now you're just wearing pants and a long shirt, and it's very apparent that you're pregnant. It will perhaps make telling him a bit easier.

Finally, you walk out.
