THE NEXT few weeks ran smoothly for Perrie. She was passing all of her classes and her parents were getting better at sending her the proper packages instead of ones meant for her brother. She had received a knitted blanket and new books from her father and loads of sweets and a 4 page letter of how much she is loved from her mother after receiving owls from not only Oliver, but Diana and Fred on Perrie's panic attack and fear.
Perrie has always had panic attacks so they weren't strange, they just didn't happen as often as they did this year. But one would expect her anxiety to be through the roof since notorious murderer, Sirius Black, broke out of Azkaban and was on the loose. Adding to that, Dementors surrounded the castle.
But Leonardo the house elf has been helping Perrie a lot, appearing and calming her down as best as he could.
It was around noon. Perrie had a free period, and unsurprisingly, so did the twins and Cedric. However, the olive-skinned girl was not with the any of those boys. Instead, she sat in the empty Quidditch stands and watched her brother practice with the few other team members who had the same free period.
She tried focusing on her Transfiguration homework and the practice at the same time, but the bitter wind nipped at her exposed skin and made her want to climb into bed and sleep.
"Perrie! Watch out!" Oliver shouted, as a few other players screamed too.
The cold girl looked up in time to see a Buldger racing towards her. She screamed and ducked. The Buldger hit the stands and destroyed the area, wood hitting her. Oliver was immediately beside her, taking the Buldger and throwing it to Angelina. "It's been tampered with!" He shouted. "Bloody thing shouldn't have been able to get to the stands! Perrie, you okay?"
Perrie sat up, pieces of the stands falling off her. "Oh yup, just dandy. But I think this near death experience has been a little too much for me. I'm going to find Cedric and cry to him. Good luck! Love you." She smiled, gathering her belongings quickly and leaving the pitch.
"Hey! Pear-Bear, wait up!" Cedric shouted, watching the Gryffindor tighten her scarf. "Why're you walking so fast?" He asked, holding his chest.
"I almost got murdered by a Buldger!" She blurted, adjusting her bag on her shoulder.
Cedric tilted his head in confusion, resembling a confused puppy. "What?"

Perrie hadn't seen the twins all day, which was kind of weird. She was afraid they were going to pull another prank on her so she decided to walk to dinner as cautiously as she could.
"Honestly Perrie, they're not going to prank you. Stop being ridiculous, people are staring!" Cedric hissed, eyeing his best friend.
"You never know!" She replied, sticking her head out from behind a pillar. "I've gotta be careful and stealthy."
"Yeah? You just look lame and weird."
Cedric rolled his eyes and watched as the girl continued walking against the wall as if she were some spy.
"Merlin's beard." He grumbled, walking up to Perrie and throwing her over his shoulder. "I'm starving and you're taking far too long."
"Eat my shorts, Diggory."
"Why not what's underneath your shorts?"
Perrie gasped and hit Cedric multiple times, demanding to be put down.
"Okay." Cedric said, dropping her only to catch her before she hit the ground.
A squeal had escaped Perrie's lips, and she angrily hit Cedric again. "You foul git!"
Cedric only laughed. "Hey, meet me in the kitchens after dinner and bring D."
"For?"
"Family time, duh."
"Ohhh, yes. The Hufflepuff Common Room is my favourite." Perrie grinned, clapping her hands together. Cedric put her down and let her speed walk to her house table.
Perrie didn't quite understand why they were allowed to eat at other tables during breakfast and lunch but at dinner they had to stick to their houses. She understood the whole loyalty thing, but why couldn't you sit with your friends?
Perrie still hasn't seen the twins, which worried her. But soon enough they sauntered in and plopped down on either side of her. Oliver noticed and walked over and sat across from them. "Weasley," He began, addressing both the boys. "You didn't show up to practice. Why?"
Fred rolled his eyes and George sighed. "We were busy." George answered. "With stuff."
Oliver raised his eyebrow. "Listen, if we don't win the house cup this year I'll—"
"We got it." George said, smiling falsely.
The twins didn't say much during dinner, adding to Perrie's suspicion. After she finished eating, she grabbed Diana and entered the kitchens, where Cedric waited.
"Cover your ears and close your eyes." He ordered so he could get into the common room. The others would kill him if he let anyone out of Hufflepuff know the way in. They obliged after whining.
"Why does your common room smell so much better than mine? Stuck up Slytherins are so bitter, it makes our common room smell of negativity and cold, black coffee. But also mint."
"That doesn't sound too bad, Bean." Perrie smiled. "Minus the negativity, it sounds quite nice."
"Yeah? You guys won't ever get to experience it. I wish my house wasn't full of pompous bitches."
The friends laughed. "The Gryffindor common room smells like fire — like from home, a nice fire. And it smells like cinnamon and I don't know, nice stuff." Perrie shrugged.
"Nice stuff," Cedric snorted. "Fire smells funny."
"Yeah? You enjoy the smell of dirt."
"It's homey! Stop bullying me in my own common room."
"Okay Diggity Digster Diggy Dig Digs."
"What?"
"It sounded cooler in my head."
