WEEKS HAD gone by. The Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw game was coming soon and Oliver was once again pacing. The team was half awake, watching their captain walk in circles. Oliver had them up early, which also meant Perrie was up early.
The younger Wood was sleepily leaned against Fred, who was resting his head on top of Perrie with his eyes closed as well. "Pero," The older twin mumbled.
"Huh?"
"We should make a bet."
Perrie muttered another, "Huh?"
"If Gryffindor wins this match then you gotta convince Oliver to stop dragging us out here so early."
The girl laughed tiredly. "I'm afraid that's impossible. It's his last year, he's going to do everything he can to win the cup."
Fred groaned.
"New bet then,"
"I'm all ears."
"If Gryffindor wins the house cup, you have to go on a date with me."
"Oh really?" The tan witch mused. "For Valentines day?" She could feel Fred nod. "It's a date."

Cedric Diggory was avoiding Perrie. Not because he was upset with her and certainly not because he disliked her. Cedric Diggory was sneaking around so Perrie wouldn't be able to get the Ravenclaw Quidditch team's game plan out of him. Since he was talking to Cho Chang so much and spent a majority of his free time with her, he was able to sit in on their practices, and being Perrie's best friend, the sister of Gryffindor's Quidditch captain was a little...well, risky. Especially since Cedric couldn't keep information to himself.
He knew that Oliver wasn't the type to send his younger sister out to find the opposing team's strategy, but he knew that Perrie was manipulative and would tease their strategy out of him just for the hell of it.
So yes, Cedric Diggory did slide along the walls ridiculously and he did hide in the shadows and behind statues and columns to avoid Perrie.
Diana found it all hilariously pathetic and when Perrie found out, she definitely teased Cedric by popping up randomly while he was studying and once even waking him up from his nap in his dorm. How she got into the Hufflepuff Common Room would be a mystery left unsolved.
"Are you done being a baby?" Perrie asked, sitting beside Cedric.
The brunet flinched, dropping his toast. "No, Perrie. I am not done being a baby. Wait, I'm not even being a baby!"
"Whatever you say." The Gryffindor sang, knowing it annoyed Cedric. "I gotta go now, see you at the game." She winked and walked away, heading towards Fred and George, who stood beside her brother. Oliver was once again pacing. George watched and Fred was staring into his cup of pumpkin juice.
Fred was nervous. If they won this match then he'd get to go on a date with Perrie, which excited him to no end. But he was nervous too because so many things could go wrong on their date and Fred was a professional at thinking of all the worst outcomes.
"Cheer up, lads!" Perrie sung, seemingly in a very good mood today. "It's only Ravenclaw."
Oliver scoffed. "Yeah, Ravenclaw. Only the house known for their wit and strategy. They'll end us." He groaned.
Perrie laughed. "No they won't. We've always beaten Ravenclaw. Their team isn't made of geniuses. The only trait you really need to get into Ravenclaw is creativity...and I suppose wit but more creativity. Which, I guess makes them creative geniuses. Not the point! You guys will do great just like every other time."
"Way to make it better." George chuckled, nudging Perrie.
"Hey, I tried my best."

Perrie leaned against a bookshelf inside the Gryffindor Common Room. The house was celebrating their victory against Ravenclaw. The team killed it out there, winning with a smashing 230-30.
She cheered alongside her classmates, grinning at the loud music and the dancing teens. She held her cup of pumpkin juice close and admired everything.
This was her life. She was a witch and the people around her were just as magical. Everything was great and she was happy and so were her classmates, at least in this moment. This moment was something she knew she would never forget because at this moment she acknowledged the fact that this was her life and these were all real things that were happening to her and she was just so glad to be alive. Now, in this time period, in that moment, Perrie felt free and like she could do anything. And it was like moments like these that she wished she could experience over and over again, forever. Because that's how life should feel 24/7; stressless and amazing and worth it.
Without her acknowledgement, Fred was standing parallel to her across the room, admiring her while she was admiring the party. He was still nervous. They won the game, and now he needed to ask her out. She had already agreed to the date before, but he wanted to make sure that she actually wanted it to.
"Go get 'em tiger." Ginny teased, pushing her brother towards Perrie. "Don't mess this up, I like her."
Fred smiled and rolled his eyes. "I'll try not to."
