THE END of Christmas break came quickly, which made Perrie a little happy. She was excited to see Fred and George again. They had sent her a few owls but they had no idea she dyed her hair and cut it. The only people who knew happened to be her relatives, Cedric, and Diana.

When Diana arrived at the Wood Manor the day after Christmas, she was shocked to find her best friend had did something like dyeing her hair. However, she liked it very much and thought Perrie looked fantastic with it.

The trio — and Oliver — were dropped off by Perrie's parents at the train station. After yet another round of group hugs, promises, and requests for sweets, the group stumbled onto the train.

Riding the Hogwarts express was a little boring to Perrie because her friends always fell asleep. And despite Cedric talking to Cho, the two always cuddled. Perrie wasn't even tired and she didn't feel like sitting there and just watching her friends sleep because that's just weird, so she decided that she could get some art done. She never really had time to do it at school due to the studying, and whatever free time she had was spent with the twins or Cedric and Diana.

Perrie pulled some watercolours out to create some artwork and thought for a moment on what to paint. Sighing, she sat back before looking up at her two friends, who were still leaned up on each other, snoring lightly.

Perrie had managed to pack up all her supplies and put her painting away safely after it dried. She nudged her two friends awake since the train was coming to a halt.

The three clambered off of the Hogwarts Express and made their way into the castle. Perrie was grinning as her friends gave her new hair lots of attention. Though she didn't enjoy everyone touching her hair, she did enjoy the compliments.

Fred and George stood a few yards away from the group, wondering why everyone was crowded around the young girl. Maybe she got something wicked for Christmas and was showing it off.

"Wait, where are you going?" George asked, watching Fred push himself off the tree. "I thought we were going to stay here against the tree and look all cool and wait for her to come to us?"

The older twin shrugged, "One, it's too damn cold to look cool and wait for her to come to us. Second, I haven't seen Perrie all break, I want to thank her for our gift."

The Weasley twins made their way to the group and pushed their way in, sending fake smiles to people who looked at them for intruding like that. Fred choked on the air he inhaled when he saw Perrie. Granted, he was always amazed by her beauty. But right now, with her new hair and the snow falling around her, she was literally breathtaking.

"Hi boys." Perrie smiled warmly. "Thank you two so much for the presents. I'm absolutely in love with the paint brushes."

George tilted his head, "I'm sorry. Who are you again?"

Fred still couldn't form any words. His eyes just took in everything that Perrie was. He didn't expect her to look the way she did, but with the sun hitting her and her smile lighting up, she resembled an angel.

"Uh," George coughed. "Fred and I wanted to thank you for your gift as well. It was really nice of you to paint us. Really cool that you charmed it so it was like an animated painting. And the planners and equipment were great too."

Perrie grinned. "Oh thank Merlin! I was scared that you two wouldn't like it."

"You're pretty," Fred finally blurt. "I mean, your hair it's um nice. I didn't expect you to actually dye your hair, nonetheless cut it."

The girl smiled again. "Thank you. I was honestly scared to do it but I'm really glad I did. Now, can we go inside? I'm freezing."

The three friends laughed and caught up while walking into the castle. George left the two because he claimed to need to ask Lee something important when in reality he was meeting up with Cedric, Diana, and Lee. The four friends looked at Fred and Perrie from behind a wall.

"Operation Ferrie in motion." George grinned.

Cedric furrowed his eyebrows. "What? I thought we agreed on Pred."

"Pred sounds gross!" Diana exclaimed.

"But it rhymes with bread!"

"Listen," Lee interrupted. "I thought we agreed on Frerrie with three r's."

"Why don't we do Woosley?" Diana snickered.

George rolled his eyes. "There's two Woods and like a lot of Weasleys." He pointed out. "And Ferrie sounds the best."

The group turned back around only to find out the two left.

"Great, we lost them."

"Why are we stalking them in the first place?" Cedric asked.

"Get with the program, Diggory!"
