THE TWINS were still very quiet and sneaky. This made Perrie paranoid. It's been a few weeks and she decided this prank was huge and well thought out. Normally, the twins let Perrie in on the pranks, especially because she often got them out of trouble and not to mention she was a genius. So not only was she paranoid, she was a little bitter.

Today was the first Hogsmeade trip and Perrie was dressing warm for the occasion. She sighed in content after slipping the cozy sweater over her body — it was a knitted jumper made by Molly Weasley that Perrie received for Christmas in her third year. After pulling some pants on and tying her boots, Perrie debated on putting a jacket on before deciding against it and left the Gryffindor dormitories. Fred and George seemed to be waiting for her in the common room, casually and as if they hadn't been leaving her out of nearly everything.

"Hey Perrie! You ready?" George asked.

This made Perrie raise an eyebrow. "I don't know what you're talking about, Mr. Weasley."

"Hogsmeade? I mean, that's why you're dressed like that, right? We always go together."

Perrie shook her head, laughing. "No, I'm going with Cedric and Diana. It's a double date, but you two have fun." She mockingly smiled, leaving the common room and going to find her friends.

"Double date?" Fred said questioningly, staring at the portal Perrie had just exited. "You don't think Cedric and Perrie are together, right?"

"No, it's definitely Diana and Cedric." Lee said, walking up to them and slightly frightening them. "So are we going or not?"

The twins and Lee walked out, but Lee had forgotten something so Fred and George waited around.

"Who do you think it is?" Fred finally asked, causing George to smirk and shrug.

"Dunno, but it could be William Knight."

"You mean the one who always gives her astronomy notes when she isn't paying attention?"

"Yeah, that one. Or it could be that guy from her art class. What's his name?"

Fred shrugged, "Luke?"

"No, it's Edwin. Where the hell did you get Luke from?"

"His last name is Lucas, I think."

While the twins thought of people Perrie could be on a date with, the brunette was bitterly staring at Cedric. "What!? Why are you looking at me as if I insulted your great nan?!" He finally asked, uncomfortable under her glare.

"What? Oh sorry, I didn't realise." Perrie sighed. "Anyways, where's Cho? I didn't agree on going on this date with Diana for nothing."

Diana gasped in mock offence. "Hey! You're blessed to be on a date with me!"

"If you say so." Perrie hummed, tapping her fingers against the table. "Why can't I go get a butterbeer and pumpkin pasty?"

"Because we're waiting for Cho, she'll be here any moment. And you don't like anything having to do with pumpkins."

"I like Halloween."

"Doesn't count. Look! There she is! Hey Love!" Cedric grinned, pulling a chair out for his date. Cho blushed, looked down at the table, and then looked at Diana and Perrie.

"Hi Cho!" The two girls chorused, hiding their giggles. Later, they would definitely tease Cedric about calling Cho, "Love."

While the "double date" was easy going and enjoyable, Perrie still wasn't completely normal again. She wasn't thinking of the twins "betrayal", but rather why they would avoid her, leave her out, and then try to talk to her as if nothing was wrong. She had to admit, she considered telling Oliver things so he'd give them a hard time at practice, but she knew that was unfair. Okay, they deserved it a little, but if Oliver knew Fred and George hurt Perrie's feelings, he'd work them until sore was an underestimate.

"Pear, you okay?" Cedric asked, examining his best friend with concern. The other two girls were staring at Perrie as well, as she had stopped talking mid-sentence.

"Forge and Gred, 12 o'clock!" Diana hissed, hitting Perrie's arm.

Of course Diana and Cedric knew about the situation, and while Diana offered to kick both their arses, Cedric tried making it something positive ("More Cedric time!" is what he exclaimed.)

Perrie didn't turn around or stiffen. She didn't give them a sign that she acknowledged them and was bothered. They noticed them however and walked up to the table. "Hey, can we sit here?" They asked, smiling.

Cho, unaware of the situation, nodded, receiving glares from the three friends. She was confused and Cedric whispered into her ear, making her mouth drop into an o shape. She sent Perrie an apologetic smile.

"So this was the double date you were talking about?" Fred asked, relieved that it wasn't an actual date.

Perrie smiled tightly but refused to look at him. "Sure."

Diana whistled, "Cold."

Fred frowned, "Can I talk to you outside?"

Perrie shook her head, "I'm on a date, I can't."

George, not liking Perrie's unreasonable bitterness, scoffed. "It's not a real date."

"Yeah?" Perrie asked, cocking an eyebrow and sitting up straighter. George nodded. "Not a real date my arse. If it wasn't a real date then I wouldn't do this!" Perrie turned towards Diana and cupped her face, sending an apologetic smile to her good friend before kissing her for a good half a minute.

Cedric whistled, earning him a slap from Cho. Fred stared at them with an open mouth, hurt all over his face. George resembled Fred with the open mouth, but when they pulled away, George clapped.

Fred got up and left.

"Still think it's not a date?" Perrie challenged.

"I'm tempted to say no just to see what else you do but, because my twin just stomped out of here, I'm gonna have to go with yes. See you, Pear-Bear."

"Don't call me that."

When the group finally returned from Hogsmeade, they discovered Sirius Black had broken into the Gryffindor Common Room. This news made it hard for Perrie to breathe and Fred didn't attempt to comfort her — he was being childish. Instead, Oliver held his sister and tried to prevent a possible panic attack.

The entire student body was forced to sleep in the Great Hall. Diana complained about it, saying that a lot of people smelled and snored and she didn't want so many people around her while she slept.

Cedric, on the other hand, was ecstatic. He claimed it was just a giant slumber party and he brought his pillow and blanket beside his two friends, plopping beside them happily.

"They're just going to force you to move." Diana said, watching Cedric settle down.

"Shh, no they won't."

Cedric talked to his friends until he fell asleep and then Diana followed. After the teachers left to search the castle, many males moved from where they were supposed to sleep. One of them was Fred Weasley.

Fred made sure Perrie was asleep before settling down. He sighed and moved her hair out of her face, kissing her forehead goodnight, and laying down.
