Chapt 22 - Overcoming the Nightmares

All of you knew that none of this was real. But you were fighting the fact that it might. All of you need to overcome all of your fears and nightmares to get through.

- Tօ (Y/ռ) -

~• Yѳuʀ pѳѵ •~

I don't know what hit me but I had the urge to walk to 'them'. I know this isn't real. It might happen but there is only a very small chance that it will. I slowly started making my way to 'me'. Once I was close enough I punched 'Mabel' on the face.

"Sorry Mabel" I said softly.

That seemed to catch everyone's attention and caught them on guard. They looked at me sharply. Dipper and Bill were the first one to pounce. I dodged them. It was my turn to attack. I roundhouse kicked Dipper and Bill in their guts.

"Sorry guys" I apologized. Even though I don't know why I just keep apologizing.

I finished everyone off and they fled away. I sighed and approached 'me'. I ask if she's okay but then everything disappeared in a flash. I can see Tad in a cage on top of the tallest tower just as Vic said. But I can't do this alone. I waited for the rest and soon I can see Grunkle Ford !

~• Dippɛʀ'ร pѳѵ •~

I can't take it anymore ! I stood up and stopped crying. I know this isn't real. I still have the laser gun Grunkle Ford gave me. So, I used it. I shoot Bill in the eye and Vic too. I ran to (Y/n) who is still a diamond statue. Gosh, she's still pretty even though she's a statue... OMG Dipper get over it !

"Hey Bill, Vic ! Over here !" I shouted.

The two demons looked at me and shot their spells at me. I stepped aside and their magic hit (Y/n). She turned back to a human ! I quickly hugged her and kept shooting those two demons but then all of this disappeared.

I looked around and I found a clearing. I can see Grunkle Ford and (Y/n) ! I can also see Tad way up there on the tallest tower as Vic said. I walked up to them and waited for Bill and Mabel.

~• Biʆʆ 'ร pѳѵ •~

I still don't understand this nightmare... They can't beat me ! Im basically more-less immortal ! Unless, they found the waaay ! But that way is very difficult ! Even for the likes of them !

Anyways, I mentally slapped myself for forgetting these aren't real. But it could happen !! I stood up and ran towards 'myself'. I punched Pine Tree away and dodged Ford's strike. Then I karate chopped him. I kicked Stan away and rushed to (Y/n) and Shooting Star. I took the knife Shooting Star was holding and slammed it on her side. I checked on (Y/n), she had blood everywhere. I checked her pulse but there was nothing.

Then everything dissolved into a dark mist. I can see a small door opened. I ran towards it and I can see Ford, Pine Tree and (Y/n) ! I rushed over to them and helped with the rescue plan for Tad. We have to hurry though. My right arm is starting to fade away quick !

~• Mɑbɛʆ'ร pѳѵ •~

I remember now ! ( Le me : Where have you been ? o3o ) None of this is real ! At least this one isn't but it still can happen. Beh. (Y/n) is my best best bestie. She loves me ! ( Not it 'that' way. It's like sister love ツ )

I marched over to 'me' and tried comforting 'myself'.

"Ugh, who to heck are you ?" Pacifica snorted.

I didn't answer. I just stood up and b*tch slapped her. She then gave me that 'oh-no-you-didn't' look and started pulling my hair. I tackled her down and we began to roll around. She ended up below me and I took the chance to stomp on her fake-wannabe barbie hair. Pacifica looked done so she stomped away cursing under her breath.

I walked over to (Y/n) and 'me' slowly but they didn't seem to notice. I tried catching their attention but they didn't respond. Everything began to fade away and an archway appeared. I walked out and I can see everyone else waiting for me. I dashed towards them and helped with Tad's rescue plan.

~• Vic'ร pѳѵ •~

Their doing quite well ! But you see, my nightmares are dying to frighten them some more. I told them to go easy and they said they would... But they aren't the type to do so, especially when 'he' is around as their leader.

Yeah, yeah, I am the nightmare lord here but Im not the one controlling them out there. I have full control of them here or at a times without any visitors. But when it comes to the battlefield, 'he' has full control. Well, I trust him. He's a dear friend of mine.

Remember. Im only going easy because it has my benefits and my life depending on it. My right arm is fading fast. They're running out of time !

~• ???'ร pѳѵ •~

Lord Victorique called me and ordered for an easy test for these visitors. I still haven't finished wondering why on earth would he want to go easy on this certain group. The lord never told me to go easy on anyone before. He would always say,

"Torment them in any way possible ! You mustn't let them pass the test alive !"

I never liked questioning the lord. Oh no. But I couldn't help myself so I trailed off,

"My lord, it is very rare for me to question your decisions. But may I ask"

"Of course head general" lord Victorique approved.

"Why would you like me and the army to go easy on these visitors, my lord ?" I asked.

The lord just chuckled.

"Well, lets just say it has our lives depending on it"

What ? But we're immortals ! What could possibly kill us ? Except when the lord was leaving he... Oh dear...

"Oh yes ! Please don't hurt the demon with a disappearing arm, general" he added

"Yes my lord" I said as I politely exited the room and began to command the nightmare army into battle stations.
