Explanation

Hurricane pov
I took a deep breath. "Ezra is black. I'm blue. What Kallas has to do with this is he's my dad!" I paused and looked to Zeb. With a pleading look. "Plz plz plz explain I can't" I mouthed. He sighed.

"He hits her" he answered shortly.
They gasped in surprise.
"Me and Ez were best friends back when I was younger. We both lost contact about 3 years ago. I thought he was dead. Then I helped him on that supply run for the fuel. We started hanging out again after that. My dad came home drunk a few months ago. He beat me real hard that night. I managed a distress call to him though. Him and Zeb helped me out. That brings us up to now." I said leaving Tommy out of this. Tommy! Crap I left him at home! He should be ok though. I hope.
"So Ezra has a girlfriend?" Kanan asked me. "That would be me."
I said smiling.
"Let's go save my boyfriend." I said turning around facing the panels and checking the gauges.

Hurricane pov
We were currently running through the halls of the base. Zeb and Sabine and Kanan went the other way while I headed to the level 1 on they went to level 2. Don't ask me why they all went that way I have no clue. I came upon the last cell on the level hoping and praying that it was the right cell. It was! He was laying broken on the ground.
"Ezra!" I screamed. I ran to his side and supported him on my shoulders.
"Hurricane?" He whimpered.
"Yeah it's me." I answered before reaching for my comm and contacting Kanan. I told him to leave that I'd get Ez. Now of course being the generous Jedi he is. He refused to leave. That is until I threatened him. He left immediately. We ran, well limped towards the nearest open exit. The gate was closing! And the Inqistior was now chasing us. Dangit! I made a quick decision and threw Ezra under the rolling gate. I turned on my comm to Ezra.
"Ezra you there!"
"Yeah! Why the heck did you do that?"
"We wouldn't have made it otherwise. Take care of Tommy for me. The inquisitors with me. He doesn't look happy."
"No! Don't say bye!"
The inquisitor turned on his lightsaber and stabbed me threw the gut.
"Ez. I....love..... You." With that I breathed my last breath.

Ezra pov
I was never the same after that fateful day. This was all my fault! Why couldn't she stay?! Why? Why the force couldn't she stay. She put up with her father for heavens sake!
I took care of Tommy after that. He was upset I wasn't his big sister I could tell. The crew tried to cheer me up. But it never worked. The old me was gone and not coming back anytime soon. But one day I woke up and went outside the sun was just rising in the sky and there was one cloud that spelled out: I'm always here.

I walked into the ghost that day with a smile on my face.
