CHAPTER 5: SILENCE

Caleb pov:

"I guess we're heading home." Liv said heading back to the car. I start to sit and bury my face in my hands. What did i do? Whats wrong with me? I never ment to hurt brynn feelings but here i am.. i love her i really do, i need her...

"i'll take the bus home is that okay with you miss katie" brynn says looking down "are you sure brynn its a long way.." mom says looking far in the distance brynn nods and walks to the nearest bus station i run to her grabbing her arm and turning her around "brynn no.." i say "no what?!" Brynn said shouting at me my eyes start to tear up "dont go. Dont leave me. I was wrong i know just give me a 2nd chance?"

"No caleb, i've had enough.." brynn runs to the bus station and leaves me walking back to the car slowly.

Hayley pov:

I run up to caleb and give him a hug "what you doing there hayley?" Caleb said confused but sad "im giving you a hope hug... you and brynn will work out" i say hugging him tighter he hugs back trying not to cry infront of me, caleb dosent cry infront of anyone...

Brynn pov:

I see the bus in the distance and hold arm out to stop it " i'll talk to you later caleb" a boy says i turn around and see a tall boy with brown hairand blue eyes he cuts the phone and puts it in his pocket "well hello" he says smiling at me i smile slightly and respond "uh sorry hi i was looking cause you said caleb and i kinda have a friend called caleb, i'm brynn.." his eyes light up a little as he hears my name "brynn rumfallo right? Yeah i'm caleb's friend jack" he says

"Oh your jack!!" I say smiling and getting on the stopped bus while he comes in after me he laughs and smiles " yeah its me! Anyways why are you by yourself i heard you were out in the woods or something" he says i nod afterwards looking down "me and caleb got in a fight, he yelled at me and left me in the woods..." i hold back my tears so i dont cry again suddenly jack lightly pushes my chin up to make my face face his "brynn i dont know why caleb would do that but dont let that get you down, if he thinks its a good idea to leave you alone then keep it that way he dosent deserve you" jack says staring at me i stare into his big blue eyes and smile a little "sorry that was cheesy" jack said "i like cheesy" i laughed

The bus stopped and i saw my house "this is my stop" i say still calming down from laughing earlier "i stop with you i'm seeing caleb now" i slightly smile still upset when hearing caleb's name i get off followed by jack who walked with me to mine. I stand by my door turning to jack "bye jack hopefully i see you again" i smile "y-yeah me to" jack smiles "are you alright?" I ask

"Y-yeah" jack says coming closer soon kissing my lips he pulls away "bye brynn" he says smiling and walking away as he walks away i run to my room and throw my back to my bed what just happened?!

Thats when i knew i still had feeling for caleb...

Caleb pov:

She dosent need me anymore.. i just saw her kissing jack i cant believe this all and its my fault i left her and now she likes jack "hey dude!" Jack says smiling i push jack away from me and look down "dude what the-"

"Leave me alone jack! Just go home..." i say turning away from him going red and tearing up jack goes away silently as i run to room and slam the door going more red hayely runs in "caleb!!" She says i punch the wall hard with my fist and calm down breathing heavily "leave me alone!!!" I say screaming

"Caleb please dont, your hurting yourself inside" hayley says glaring at me with her big eyes holding my fist in her small hands "hayley.." i hug her and calm down

"Caleb..." hayley said smiling softly

* next day *

Brynn pov:

The sun hits my eyes as i wake up "ugh mondays" i say picking up my phone next to my bed i get loads of notifications but one catches my eye

Annie: hey brynn? meet me at the park now...

I get up looking in my closet for clothes in my closet i soon pick out my outfit and throw it on and run out the door "hey hey hey, brynnie where are you going?"jacob says stopping me "im going to see annie okay?!" I say "not now, your starting school remeber?" Jacob says pointing to a calender "shoot, ill go then" i say sighing and getting on the bus.

Brynn: hey annie, i cant come rn im going to my new school 😒

Annie: oh okay. Ill see you afterwards then! Text me then

I shut my phone and put it in my pocket, new school, new day...
