CHAPTER 22- SCHOOL

Brynn pov:

Ever since the kiss happened I couldn't get it out of my head did Caleb like Katie?

I reach for my phone and see 16 missed calls from caleb and roll my eyes and set it down

I get a ring from Annie and I decide to pick it up I mean I wasn't going to let annie suffer

"Hey annie" I sigh while pressing answer on the phone "hey Brynn coming to school today?" She says

"Well yeah, but I don't know who is going to drop me there mean I kind of broke up with caleb" I say packing her bag

"Oh yeah I heard about that..sorry" she says sounding sad "ugh don't be it will never be your fault I'll get Jack to drop me"

"my mom was wondering if you'll babysit hayley afterschool I'm going gymnastics and caleb is going baseball an-"

"Sure, tell her i'm up for it" i sigh Annie hangs up and i make my way to my school bag packing everything for school in there

"text book, check. homework, check." I continue to say as i look up and down from my checklist to my bed

"Brynn it's the first day back chill" jacob says at the doorway i roll my eyes and point him out the room

I pick up my phone and scroll through my contacts and call and old friend of mine.. Jack

"Hey jack can you pick me today at mine" i say he agrees and i smile as i hang out but get startled by a familiar voice

"Is he your boyfriend?!" Kylie says smirking at the door way making her way to my bed "kylie go away he's not my boyfriend he's just a good friend" i smile

"Screams the words boyfriend to me!" She sits on my bed poking my arm i slap her hand jokingly and giggle

"Kylie i wish you could come with me, you know to school. life's no fun without you" i say sighing and looking out the window

"I cant i'm being home schooled" we both look down in disappointed but we both hug tightly "i'll be back" i smile

And she nods smiling i walk out my room and run downstairs and grab an apple from the kitchen

"Aren't you going to eat any breakfast dear?" My mum says showing me a plate of pancakes i shake my head and run outside

I see jack there and give him a bug hug "man i haven't seen you in ages! You've really grown" i smile looking at him up and down

"So this is your new man" caleb calls out before jack could say anything

My smile quickly faded into a frown "caleb it's none of your business and why would you care any way your too busy snogging katie to notice"

I quickly storm into the car and cross my arms waiting for jack to get in

Caleb POV:

I shake my head and head inside i wasn't going public school anymore.. Home school was the life for me

"Your gonna have fun caleb, trust me" katie smiles and puts her hand on my shoulder i pull it off quickly and give her a quick smile and walk inside

"Caleb wait! I have to tell you something!!" Katie calls running after me "i kind of like you in a love way it's complicated but when you kissed me there was no going back caleb i like you"

I turn around my mouth open and my eyes wide and glaring at katie as she looked terrified "katie.."
