Katie POV:

Annie has been avoiding me lately ever since she heard about Brennan and the incident we haven't talked since

So hopefully if i show up at her house and say what i feel she might forgive me? who am i kidding there is nothing to be sorry about!

I knock on the door and stand outside anxious and worried about what will happen inside

Caleb opens the door and smiles at me slightly "hey katie, what are you doing here?"

I sigh and look caleb right in the eye "i'm here to talk to annie, i need to see her i miss you know us"

He checks inside and looks back at me "annie is not home at the moment but come in i need to show you something"

I raise my eyebrow and look at him with a weird look on my face "okay" i say slowly as i step inside

Caleb POV:

My phone lights up it was brynn texting me ugh when is she gonna get it through her head that she's upset me

I pick up my phone and read the text
From brynn

Brynn: hey caleb! I wanna explain what happened last night

Caleb: no need just come over and explain it like now i'm going baseball in a few minutes

Brynn: oh okay i'll be there in a few seconds!

I drop my phone on the couch and smirk

"Katie come here for a sec" i say as before she turns and makes her way towards me

"Caleb i'm here!!" I hear a familiar voice say it was brynn i quickly cup my hands around Katie's cheeks

And bring her closer smashing her lips against mine she was surprised by the kiss and tried to stop it

"Caleb?"

I stop and turn to see brynn and i stand and walk towards her "you stand me up and leave me in the pouring rain it was what you deserved!!"

Brynn starts to tear up "i couldn't leave my room the door handle was broken and my phone died!!"

My confidence turns into guilt why did i do such a stupid thing? I've now made my girlfriend cry

And now i'm not even sure if she is my girlfriend anymore

"Brynn i'm sorry" i say holding her hand she moves her hand out the way and pushes me back

"No that's it caleb i thought you were different but your not now you can go back to kissing your new girlfriend"

Brynn says pointing at katie who is sheepishly standing there wide eyed and blushing

Brynn walks out the house and slams the door i sit down and bury my face in my hands i'm so stupid

Katie rubs my back and rest her head on my shoulder "caleb it's alright" she says

"I liked the kiss too"

I look at her and then her eyes and shake my head "katie just go" i say pointing at the door she leaves and mouths sorry and closes the door
