CHAPTER 14- TROUBLE

Brynn POV: i stare at my phone while my notifications blow up i just sigh and roll my eyes and put my phone in my pocket i walk along the pavement and bump into someone

"Hey watch it!!!" I hear a boy say i look up and see a brown haired boy with freckles he didn't look to happy i smiled slightly making it even more awkward for myself he clenched his fist as i gulped

"I'm sorry" i say he shakes his head and pushes me to the ground my eyes start to sting no brynn don't cry not now i look up at him with teary eyes i see his smile and his eyes light up then i hear someone yell

"Stop get away from her!!!" I turn to see a familiar boy running towards us it was...jack? "Jack what are you doing here?" I say he stops by us and lifts me up "hey you, beat it" i hear him say to the boy who pushed me on the ground

I brush away all the stones of my jacket and smile "i thought you hated me" i said "nah i just get weird sometimes but i'm all good" i smile as he says that

"Hey what are you doing here by yourself?" He asks i hesitate what do i say? "I-uh i'm ya know running away" i try to bolt pasts him but he stops me "what, running away? Where?" He asks

"Anywhere, anywhere but here" i say he takes out his phone and opens up the news "you are all over the news brynn you have to go home" he said showing me a video

*watching the video*

Interviewer: now for Maryland's morning news, a girl at the age of 13 named brynn rumfallo has been missing for the past 5 hours the mother of the child said she woke up hearing no noise from the child's room which she said worried her because this was usually the time she would play her music she said she went inside not seeing brynn but seeing a note claiming she ran away. Police are still searching for brynn and posters are still going up

I look down and sigh "jack thanks for your help but i cant go home" i say he looks at me weirdly "why not?" He said "because Jacob hates me.." I sniffle "awww don't say that" jack said pulling me close to his chest i start to cry hard trying to fight back the tears

"Listen brynn siblings have fights" jack said "but not me and Jacob we never do it our "thing" " i say smiling a bit "come on you cant spend your whole life like that sometimes people change and change can always been turned into a good thing" jack says

I think hard about what he said a hug him tight "whats this for?" He smiles "for being here."

Jack POV:

I offer to give brynn a lift home by uber and she agrees as soon as we got in the car i start to stare at brynn

Oh god why have a got these feeling again i cant fall for her again that's out of the question but then again she makes it impossible not to...

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Brynn said smiling i just shake my head a smile and look out the window as the car drives the car stops infront of brynn's house "we're here"

Jacob POV:

I sit on my bed and cry i'm evil and such a cruel person to let my own sister just run away i hear a few honks from outside and a familiar voice calling jacob i look out my window seeing brynn i get exited and run downstairs

I open the front door and run to brynn giving her a big, tight hug "never leave me again" i say smiling

"Don't worry i wont" she smiles back hugging me even tighter
