My Ex is My Husband

Chapter 19 Tragedy.

Elmo's POV.

Lolo just left and tapos na ang work ko for today kaya, I just decided to go home. Miss ko na ang Asawat anak ko.

I took my phone out to call Julie, to see kung nasa bahay siya. I want to go out tonight with the both of them. I was thinking .......... a movie night?? 

*RINNGGGG---*

That's odd........she usually answers all my calls kasi kasama naman niya ang phone niya lagi eh. I grew worried kaya tumawag ako sa bahay.

*RINNGGGG---*

"Hello?"

"Hello yaya...Nasa bahay ba si Julie?"

"Ah ser, wala po si ma'am Juleh eh. Umalis po kanina, iniwan niya muna dito si Shane kasi naka-tulog."

"Alam bo ba kung saan siya pumunta?? Kasi tinatawagan ko pero hindi siya suma-sagot eh."

" Ah ser, sabi niya kanina sa akin na gusto ka niya daw surperahen ng lunch kaya pupunta daw siya sa oppice ninyo."

"Huh?? eh wala naman siya dito. Ah.... sige yaya, kapag dumating diyan si Julie, tawagan mo ako hah?"

"Okey po ser"

I ended the call and immediately went out to see Wendy. "Wendy... pumunta ba dito si Juli?" I looked at her with a serious face. "Hi...hindi po sir." sabi naman niya. "I am serious Wendy.... pumun ta ba si Julie dito?? Kaka-tawag ko lang sa bahay, pumunta daw siya dito for lunch." She paled."O....... opo, nandito siya kaninang kausap niyo ang lolo niyo. I think she was gonna surprise you, pero parang sumama ang pakiramdam niya kaya binigay na lang niya sa akin yung binili niyang Jollibee at umuwi na. She told me not to tell you but.... I am also worried po para kay ma'am, parang naiiyak siya kanina when she left." 

SH*T!! Did she hear our conversation?? Fu**! 

Agad akong lumabas papunta sa car ko and opened my phone to check her iphone finder. I followed the way and ended up in front of an unfamiliar house. I rang the doorbell a few times then a teenage who seems to be 16 or 17 opened the door. "sino po sila?" I was about to answer when a very familiar person came out. "Jane sino yan?" she asked the girl. "Ate hindi ko kilala eh." Then the woman looked at me..... "Elmo?!? Oh My God!! I have not seen you in years!!" She said excitedly as she ran up to me and pull me in a tight hug. "Maqui........".After the hug, she looked at me with a smile. " So anong gina-gawa mo dito? How did you find out I lived here?". "Maq.......nandito ba si Julie??" I asked in a soft tone.

She looked at me shocked, "S...si Julie??".  "Oo, si Julie, don't tell me she is not here kasi andito ang phone niya." I looked at her with a pleading face. "Please Maqui...... tell me she's here, I just need to clarify things with her. Alam ko na narinig jiya ang pinag-usapan namin ni Lolo sa office ko. And I know for a fact that that's the reason why she is ignoring me. Kaya please Maq........I need to see your friend. I don't wanna lose her again." 

I can see the hesitation in her eyes.......I know she is fighting with her self, if she will help me or not.

But before she could answer, I saw Julie through the open door . She was escaping through the back door. I tried to run to her but when I got there, she was already in her car. I immediately, went back to my car on the front of the house to follow her. And before I left, I  waved a goodbye to Maq. Then I followed her car.

Julie's POV

Oo alam kong medyo OA ang reaction ko pero......nasaktan ako eh. I know I should have listened to him first instead of running away but like I said, nasaktan ako. I will listen to him laer but for now.........I just need to be alone to calm myself. Kasi if I face him in my state right now, alam kong I will rush into things and make decisions that I will regert later on. And I can't afford to do that. We have a child. I don't want to bring Shane into this. Kaya I decided to go to Maqui. It's been awhile when the last time I saw her. She was....is my best-friend. Actually, yesterday ko lang nalaman kong nasaan siya from facebook. I actually planned on going to her next week but things happened kaya napaaga ang punta ko. I needed somemone to talk to.

Now I am driving to nowhere. I am simply driving to get away from Elmo and I know that he is just right behind me. I took out my phone with my right hand while my left hand was on the wheel. I texted him.  

"Please Moe, not right now. I can't face you yet.....I need time. I promise to come back with a calmer me. Just leave me alone for now."

I pressed send and when I looked up on the road.....................

A truck is coming my way.

Before I knew it, my body felt numb.......and my eyes are getting harder to keep open. Then I heard him...........my ex........my husband..........my life......

"Juuulliieeeeee!!!!!!"

"Elmo.....Shane......"

.

.

.

.

.

Then everything turned black.

A/N: Sorry po for not updating. My charger broke and it took me time to earn a hundred dollars just for a freaking charger....( -.- apple....)
