Continuation from chapter 28.

Elmo's POV.

*After the phonecall*

I sighed and and put the phone down. James just called me for help. To take down Mr. Hiro's business. But I am torn.......Hiro Technologies is one of our biggest business partners. If I were to take down his business, then it might affect mine.  

Well.........fuck it. I am helping James in putting that bastard down. He caused his family's downfall

I picked up my phone again and called Hiro's secretary. I told her that I want a meeting tomorrow at lunch, 12:30.

No One's POV.

After Elmo called for the meeting, bumalik siya agad na room ni Julie. He saw her sleeping and he joined him on the Queen sized hospital bed. She stirred and hugged him. They both fell asleep until the next morning. 

When Julie woke up, it was already 12 at wala na ang asawa niya. But she smiled when she saw the note beside her.

Hey baby,

              I went for a meeting, sorry I wasn't there when you woke up. I called  ate Maxx to come by today with the kids so wait for them. Eat all your food okay??

After  an hour, naka-rating na rin ang mga anak niya kasama si Maxx. They had fun talking and playing together.

Elmo's Side.

When I arrived at the restaurant, andun na si Mr.Hiro with his secretary. He waved to me as soon as he saw me walk in. I smiled back. Syempre.....polite muna ako. 

"Mr.Magalona, it's nice to see you again." He said as he shook my hand.

"Nice to see you too Mr.Hiro"

"Come! take a seat and we'll discuss what you wanted to tell me.I've already ordered some food"

We both sat down.

"So, what is this meeting about Mr.Magalona?? May problema ba??" he said with a questioning face.

"Infact, yes there is a problem Mr.Hiro. I asked you for your time today to talk about my company's investment."

"What??" he asked getting more worried.

"You see, I've been digging around and I found out some pretty disturbing thing about you Mr.Hiro."

"What are you talking about Magalona?? Everyone knows I have a clean record. You can even ask my staff."

"Oh no, I don't want to ask your staff......how about I ask a woman named  Julie Mae Alcantara??' I said with a smirk.

I saw him turn pale.

"I.....I don't know who that is!" 

"Talaga?? cause I talked to her, and she said something different."

He looked so flustered and worries. He was as white as a sheet. He was panicking.

"Bu....but she.........she's dead I saw with with my own two eyes!!" 

I smirked. I caught you bastard.

He looked at his secretary with anger.

"I told you to make sure that she was dead!!" He screamed at his secretary.

"Bu..but sir, you told me to just leave it be because you said you were sure she was dead. Bu....but for the last 2 weeks, I've been receiving some threat texts  . I couldn't tell kasi nasa Japan ka naman and you said to not disturb you."

That caught my attention. Text??

"Mr.Hiro, by today April 26 2021. We no longer need your company's service. I will be taking out my shares."

He looked at me with anger. 

"You can't do that!! If you take out your investment and we stop providing our materials, you will also lost a lot." he said smirking.

"Just to remind you Hiro, we are your number one buyer. We give you 80% of your profits. So if we're out, then you're down to on 20% of your annual profit. And if you think your company's' irreplaceable then you're wrong. We are only with you because we've been with you since my dad was CEO. But right now, there are more better brands than your company that can provide us with much better quality materials. So you are not in any position to be threatening me."

His pale face turned to red and he stormed out. But before his secretary could follow him I stopped her. 

"You said you were getting texts........was it by Julie Mae??"

"Yes sir."

"Are you sure??" I asked urgently.

"Opo. I've had it investigated. And this morning the investigator called me and said that it was in fact Julie Mae Alcantara. I've kept quiet because I don't want Mr. Hiro to sough her out again."

"Do you know where she lives??"

"Yes sir. I'll send the paper through email."

"Salamat." She smiled.

She was about to leave but i stopped her again.

"Just a piece of advice, quit your job right now. Your boss might be going to prison soon. You don't want to dragged down with him do you??"

"Will do sir. Salamat." She smiled and walked away.

And after a few minutes, I received her email. I smiled to myself and called James. I was about to give him the greatest news in the world for a man missing his wife and kids.

After that incident, James immediately drove to Baguio City with the help of my wife. She hired a driver for James so he could drive without worry. They were reunited and their, they started their family again.

One Week Later.

Ngayon ang balik nila James and his family dito sa Manila. They stayed there for a week because they thought they could have more fun there in Baguio. A place where they could catch up and talk peacefully.

We invited them kasi we were having a barbecue on our backyard. 

And while we were eating, that's when we talked about the past. How Julie made it to their family. 

James said that his mother found her by accident while she was searching for Julie Mae. After the accident, the sea current carried Julie's body through the ocean and she hit her head. Then she was seen walking around with a bloody and and torn clothes. Someone helped her and bought her to a hospital and since she had no memory, she had to stay in the hospital.

One day, while looking through the hospitals nakilala niya si Julie Anne and she thought of the idea na to tell her son that Julie Mae haad been in an accident and so she had to undergo plastic surgery to put her face back together. Which James believed through desperation.  So that's how Julie Anne ended up with James. 

That dinner was filled with laughter and tears. It was the beginning of a new friendship, a relationship that makes them a family. A happy family.
