BANNER: PICTURE OF WESLEY
Chapter 8
The next weeks everything went as it went always at school, Graham was becoming more popular with the time, he didn't spend breaks with us anymore, he didn't have lunch with us anymore...
Until Thursday, when Mr. Ibanez gave us our Latin tests, I peeked at Graham to see his reaction at the grade, but as always, his face was blank and holding a constant smirk, stereothypical bad boy.
"So," I said walking towards him, "Did you pass?"
He winced at my sight. "I-I..."
"It's okay if you didn't," I told him.
"I didn't pass," He dropped my gaze, "I seriously need you to tutor me, Laura."
I sighed, "I'll think about it."
He grinned and I packed my books ready to go home.

"Wes," I snapped, "When the heck are mom and dad going to be back?"
"I don't know," He answered me grabbing some paper from the table, "But they sent us 500$ and told me they would be back by the end of October."
"The end of October?" I spit out realising today was September 27th.
"Yup, and I'm fine with that," Wes smirked, "Now I can go to College Parties, baby!"
I let out a little laugh, he arched an eyebrow and added, "Talking about parties, how was that one you went last week?"
I sighed and shook my head, "Nothing from the other world..."
He smiled amusingly.
"Wes, I need advice for something," I told him and he widened his eyes with curiousness, "Should I tutor Graham in Latin?"
"Wait, who's Graham?" He asked with a lost expression.
I grabbed his cheek softly, "You don't listen to me when I talk, do you?"
He got rid of my hand and gestured me to continue.
"That guy from last Monday, remember? I told you I-"
"I remember now!" He cut me, "And I totally think you should tutor him."
I cleared my throat, "But he's kind of a jerk... and a player."
He looked at me weirdly, "Why would you say that?"
After I told him everything that happened between us at the party he stared at me pressing his lips and added, "Sissy, why do you even care?"
I rolled my eyes, "You don't understand! It's the first time I let someone into my life this far and this quick, and he... betrayed me."
Wes patted my shoulder grinning, "You only hanged out once, and shared a few lunches and breaks, it's not that of a big deal!"
I crossed my arms, "I swear there's something wrong with him, sometimes he acts all buddy-buddy, and then he acts the completely opposite..."
Wes rubbed his forehead tiredly, "I think it's just you're overreacting..."
~☆~
Maybe I was overreacting, after all he was new at school, he had to get to know everyone so he could finally choose a group of friends. And he'd definitely not chosen me.
How could I even thought of him being my friend? So handsome, so popular, such a jerk too... but anyways...
I decided to tutor him in Latin, but just to help him, the poor boy didn't even know what a declination was...
