Chapter 20
"If I had known it was you I wouldn't have answered," I snapped. I heard Graham clearing his throat from the other side of the phone.
"So... where are you?" He asked me, "I've been trying to talk to you for ages."
"It's only been three hours, Graham," I said calmly.
"Three horrible hours without you, without knowing where you were, without knowing if you were okay," He cleared, liar, liar, liar, three hours kissing Johanna.
I pressed my lips harder, "Save it Graham."
"Laus, can you please tell me why you left? We were doing great, we were having lots of fun, I can't understand why you'd -"
"I found out," I mumbled.
"Found out what?"
I passed a hand through my hair with frustration, "Oh Jesus! Don't play dumb with me, Graham! I fucking saw you kissing Johanna," I managed to say.
The line stood silent for a couple of seconds.
"You... you... saw me? B-but... you were supposed to be sleeping," He whispered.
"Oh great, genius! Well I wasn't! Your plan didn't end up as you thought! I'm sorry I discovered your cheaty bitchy plans, fuck you, you're unbelievable..." And with that I hung up, as I was doing it, I noticed the time, it was 11:40PM.
Hayden had told me the dinner would be ready by 11:45PM so I decided to start heading downstairs, after washing my face and putting on a little bit of perfume. All this runaway situation had left me kind of sweaty.

The kitchen was empty, it was really big and it had lots and lots and lots of kitchen supplies such as pans and all that stuff. It had at least five ovens and five microwaves. As soon as I put a foot inside I heard some noises coming from inside what it looked like a ridge (room/fridge).
I put my hand on its freezing doorknob and opened it. Hayden was grabbing some food from a shelf and he had just dropped something.
Hayden turned around and looked at me surprised, "Hey, mind helping me?" He asked.
I nodded and got from the floor what he had dropped, then put it in the shelf again. We both walked outside and he locked the ridge behind me.
Without saying a word, he guided me to a tiny room next to the kitchen, it had a squared table in the middle that was perfectly prepared to hold a double dinner.
I walked to the table and as soon as I was about to sit down Hayden rushed behind me and pushed the chair behind me, such a gentleman.
After that he sat in front of me and started talking, "This is called, Spaghetti a la bolognessa, sapore d'Italia!" (*Taste of Italy)
"You know Italian?" I arched my eyebrows.
"Un po," He said. I had no clue about what that meant but a guy who knows italian is just the death of me.
I smiled shyly, grabbed the fork and started eating the delicious meal.
"How did you find the room, was it comforta--?" He started to say but he was interrupted by my one and only Shawn Mendes.
I took my phone out of my pocket and bit my lip, Hayden gave me that go-ahead-answer-the-phone look so I answered although I knew who was calling, Graham, again.
