"Mom," I say as I walk down the stairs.
"Yes?" She responds from the kitchen.
"I'm gonna go in early," I say as I walk into the kitchen.
"Okay hun, but take some breakfast to go or something. Even just a bar," she says.
"I'm fine," I say, and grab my lunch she made. Yes I know it's baby-ish to let my mom do this, but I can barely see so I don't really care. Then I grab my backpack off the ground in the coat room and grab my keys.
Then I walk out the door to my car.

When I arrive at school I see my friend Rider. He's with my other friend London, they're stepbrother and stepsister. I run over to them.
"Hey," I say. London is wearing this beautiful beautiful flower dress with a flower crown. Her long light colored hair practically glows in the sunlight. Along with that she's got the most beautiful eyes. Rider is wearing what he usually wears, some shorts and a t-shirt. Today it's plaid shorts with a light colored t-shirt. Maybe white? He has messy brown hair and emerald green eyes, or so I am told. The only problem is, is that he can't exactly use them. He's legally blind.
"Hey," Rider responds.
"Hi," London answers, "You know what? You guys should try out."
"Try out for what?" Rider and I ask, in unison. Then the bell rings, I check my watch 6:45am.
