It's been about a month. I'm back on my feet and not in the hospital. Well, I have my ankle wrapped, but good enough. I can't run though. It's disappointing. I used to be fast now I have trouble.
"Hey, want something to eat?" Kyson says.
"Sure," I say. School's almost over and Kyson got his schedule changed so he could be with me for free period. I've been doing better. I still have to wear a binder so the surgery doesn't swell and I do have to take medication. Kyson has been really good to me about it. When I told him I thought he would hate me.
"Here," he says handing me a sandwich, "Now eat it."
"Okay okay," I say. He sits next to me on a tree log. I put my head on his lap and lay along the log.
"Issac, I said to eat," he says.
"I know," I say. He makes me get up and puts the sandwich in my hand. I lean on his shoulder. He lifts my chin up with his hand and we kiss. "I love you," I say as we come apart.
"I love you too," he says. We kiss again. Then again.
