"Hey, Issac, it's getting late. You should go to bed soon," my mom says from the hallway. I check my watch, it's 10:56pm. It is getting late. But tomorrow's the weekend. The 12th of November. Actually my birthday is on the 17th.
"Issac?" My mom says. Oh... I guess I got lost in my thoughts again.
"Yes," I respond.
"Did you hear me?" She asks.
"Huh? Yeah, yup," I respond.
"Issac," she says and closes my laptop. On my hand. Then sits on the bed.
"Ow," I say.
"Sorry, but Issac listen to me," she says shaking my other hand.
"Okay, okay. I'm listening," I say.
"Issac, hon. I know today was rough for you, but please don't be rude," she says.
"I'm sorry," I say.
"Okay, well, I'll go now. Goodnight hon," she says and kisses my forehead.
"Goodnight mum," I say and hug her.
"Want the lights off?" She asks getting up and walking to the door.
"Yeah, sure," I say. Then I put my laptop on my nightstand and then I take my glasses off and put them on my laptop. She shuts the lights off. The room gets darker. I lay down. She then leaves. I then quickly grab my glasses, put them on and grab my laptop. I quickly open IM. Then I start typing.
