Chapter 5 Isaac

First day of school and this kid Kyson. Wow he's nice. He stood up for me. They both ended up getting suspended.

I'm at the hospital. Kyson was unconscious, one of the other guys's friends hit him with something. So the nurse called an ambulance and now he's here. I feel really bad. I hate waiting rooms. I used to be here a lot. All these tests and stuff to explain insomnia and crap to me. I'm not on anything anymore for insomnia because I've been sleeping a lot better too. I check my phone. My mom was worried because she got a call from the school saying that I was involved in a fight. Nothing. She hasn't asked anything.

"You must be Issac right?"

I look up from my phone. There's a girl. She has long dark hair and a striped shirt. With I think jeans on. Not sure but some type of dark pants. She's with a short light haired woman. Probably her mom.

"Are you going to answer me?" She says.

"Huh? Oh yeah," I stutter.

"I'm Kelsey," she says and holds out her hand.

"I'm Issac, but I guess you already knew that," I say shaking it.

"Mr. and Mrs. Blake?" A doctor says.

"Yes?" The woman I assume is Kelsey's mom says.

Oh... So Kelsey must be Kyson's sister. I'm stupid.

"He is awake, you may see him now," the doctor says.

"Hey, do you want to come?" Kelsey asks me.

"Uh... I don't think I'm allowed to," I say.

"Don't worry, I'll get you in," she says. Then takes my hand and pulls me up from where I was sitting.

"Okay," I say, obediently following her. We start walking behind her mom. He stops me.

"Who are you?" He asks.

I stay silent. Then start walking back to my seat. I knew this was a bad idea.

"Issac wait," Kelsey says, then she turns to the doctor and says to the doctor, "He's Kyson's boyfriend jeez." I feel my face turn red.

"Oh..." he says.

"Yeah, get over it. Issac you coming?" She says.

"Uh, yeah," I say as we walk through the door.

"He's in room A18," her mom says, "Issac, right? I didn't know you and Kyson were together. He never told me."

"Mom, he's not actually dating Ky. Are you?" She says.

"No..." I say.

"Oh," she says.

"Well here we are," her mom says opening the door. Room A18. Kelsey walks in. I walk in after her. I really hope Kyson is okay. Nobody would tell me how bad he was hurt. Now I get to find out. I walk in after her.
