Chapter 8: Training

Everyone was excited to see all the food and supplies that we had brought back from our trip, we really didn't talk much because we had to get started with Jenna's training. And i know for sure that we're not going to be going easy on her especially Paige. "Who's this?" Tiffany asked. "Some skank we found selling her body to the undead on the side of the road." Paige said trying to be serious, "They saved me, my name is Jenna." Jenna said waving to everyone, "Oh my god, ain't that dangerous?" Grandma Jess said fixing her plaid loose over sized shirt. Renee slapped her forehead in shock that Grandma Jess actually believed us, "Oh my lord, Paige wasn't serious." Mary laughed, "She probably was though, she seems like she'd do something stupid like that." Paige said looking Jenna up and down. "Ok girls go get dressed because we're training Jenna now." I said walking away to go get changed into my training clothes. "i'll go get you some clothes for your training." Sydney said giving Jenna a friendly smile, i could almost feel Paige roll her eyes at Sydney as i walked away.

"So what are we training me for anyways?" Jenna asked fiddling with her over sized gym shirt that had some shady looking stains on it. "For this you sped-" Paige said while throwing a fist at Jenna's face, she collapsed to the ground from the force. "Ow! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" Jenna yelled holding her right side of her face that already began to change colors. "Ok that was a little harsh but it's gonna happen to you. a lot." i said trying not to laugh, "Yea especially if you're still gonna sell your body to the undead." Mary chimed in making us all laugh a little. 

By now Jenna was sweating through her clothes, her and Paige were boxing but Jenna seemed pretty freaking terrible at. "I've seem a man with no arms do better than you." i said to Jenna,"that was good!" Paige laughed. "Jenna DODGE THE PUNCHES IT'S NOT THAT HARD!" I shouted. "Kenz-" Paige said turning to me to speak but Jenna threw a punch which Paige dodged and then swept her legs out from under her. Jenna hit the ground with a loud thud and laid there gasping for air, Paige turned to me, "Like i was going to say...maybe Jenna should be on locating services, like she has a map of the building and the city then she can help us on our missions and so on." "good idea, since she fights like a limbless man." I said.

We walked into the cafeteria and Jenna left to go to the bathroom and so Paige and I sat down with the rest of the family. "Hey im going to go pee." Paige said getting up and walking out, "so did you find a job for Jenna?" Renee asked, "Yea shes going to be the locator, she is going to help keep track of this place and everywhere we travel. she really lacks fighting so the job is gonna have to do." i sighed, "Or we can just throw her back out there.."Sydney said, "or we can throw you out.' i said, "no one is left behind, no one is left for dead. This world is a rotting hell and we all need to work together to survive." i said looking at all of them.

PAIGE'S POV:

I walked to the bathroom down the hall and looked through the gates just making sure nothing is unsecured or over ran. I walked to the door about to push it open when i stopped dead in my tracks. "Yea they're believing all of it." Someone whispered. Jenna. I was about to bust through the door and gash her face open when i thought it through, I need to figure out what she is up to. I then walked fast back down the hall forgetting i had to pee, and i casually walked over to Mackenzie sitting at the table talking to the girls. "Hey come get food with me." I said giving her a stare, "uh ok." she said getting up and following me to the cafeteria kitchen.
