You're an actor on Supernatural and it's your first time at a convention. You do a panel with Rob and Richard and when you have a breakdown he's the only one that knows you have terrible stage fright.
"Are you sure you want to do this? They'll understand if you can't."
You sighed, taking a sip from your bottle of water.
"I'll be alright, Rob. Can't let the fans down, can I? I'll be out in a second."
Rob nodded, walking out onto the stage and joining Richard in greeting the fans gathered in the hall. Rob was the only one of your fellow actors that knew about your stage fright. Yes, you were an actor and you had stage fright. But it was different when you were in front of the camera. There was a few people (all your friends/people you knew) watching to make sure you were doing your job right, but apart from that it was like putting on a show for your family. Standing on a stage and talking in front of hundreds of strangers, though? No way, too much attention.
You could hear the both of them explaining that this was your first con, and that they should show you how nice they all were by giving you a warm welcome. That was your cue. Taking a deep breath, you finally suppressed your fears enough to step out on the stage and give a small smile and a little wave. The fans went crazy, screaming and shouting, and then you realised the number of people actually gathered to see you. Obviously seeing your slight panic, Rob pulled you down into the chair closest to the side of the stage, next to his own. He pulled the chairs a little bit closer together as well, Richard noticing and not missing out on making a smart remark. Of course, Rob responded by just pulling the chairs even closer together.
You were both used to it. Since you spent so much time together: singing, acting, etc. everyone just assumed you were dating. You weren't, as much as you wished you were, together in anyway. Everyone teased you about it, the relationship that didn't exist, and it really didn't help that you knew what it was like to kiss him. Yes, you had kissed him, and that was what started it. You played a Winchester sibling on Supernatural and in the show you and Chuck had a thing, which meant you had to kiss Rob. Because you were such great friends after that people thought you were dating. Nope.
For the next twenty minutes you stayed seated, and Rob mostly stayed near you, saying encouraging words whenever you were asked a question. Your voice was quiet when you spoke and sometimes Rob had to answer your questions for you. Richard was all over the place, jumping about and answering questions loudly, the complete opposite to you and you opened up a little bit when he started talking to you. You were more comfortable around the boys. You could imagine that you were out for the day, or messing around at someone's house. But when you were asked that one question that you weren't sure how to answer, and Rob leaned over to whisper to you, Richard just couldn't help himself.
"What are you two love birds whispering about?" Not waiting for an answer, he spun around to fade the crowd of fans, "you see, we - the cast - have this suspicion that Rob and Y/N are dating. Am I the only one who's noticed all the whispering?"
You blushed bright red, and as Richard continued your breathing picked up.
'Oh no, not a panic attack, not right here, not in front of everyone' you thought.
The screaming from the fans only made it worse and soon, with Richard's teasing and the high pitched noises swirling in your head, you burst into tears. Rob was kneeling in front of you immediately, trying to calm you down, but it wasn't working. He stood up and told Richard, who was looking worried and slightly guilty, that he was taking you backstage. Rob picked you up bridal style and pulled you close to his chest, still whispering calming things and trying to hush you. You pressed yourself closer, and found comfort in Rob's body heat. Ignoring the worried questions, Rob took you straight to the green room, sitting on the sofa and pulling you into his lap and rocking you gently. It was calming, and eventually the cries turned into whimpers, the whimpers turned into sniffles and the sniffles turned into light snores. Just before you fell asleep, you whispered,
"Thanks, Robbie."
That was exactly how everyone found you later that evening, curled up against Rob with tear stains on your cheeks, both of you fast asleep.
I am so so so SO SO incredibly sorry that I haven't updated in over a month. I lost my interest in writing and school and everything else basically, so I just didn't write. This is a really short update, and I have no idea what to write now. Requests would be appreciated a lot, and they would get my creative juices flowing, so if you guys want anything in particular, be sure to ask. Thanks for your patience, and once again, I am so sorry.
