A request from @Asami-01. I changed it a little but I hope you like it anyway.

March 1st

You opened the door of your apartment, carefully picking up the flowers and the piece of paper you knew would be there. You smiled at the gift before finding a vase to put the flowers in. Once the flowers were safely sat on your window sill, you turned your attention to the note.

This time it was poetry.

It began with the usual, My Dearest (Y/N), and went on to describe how your eyes shined in a certain light and your smile was the most beautiful thing this person had ever seen. You didn't know who it was that had been leaving you flowers on the 1st of every month, but you knew that you would love to meet them. At first you were cautious, but then you came to realise that this person was including details in their letters that only a few people knew about you, so it was obvious that you knew this person, whoever they were.

April 1st

This month it was a letter. A carefully handwritten letter that expressed this secret admirer's wishes to reveal themselves to you, but they were too anxious and insecure to do so.

It broke your heart to know that the kind, flattering person who had been making your months go by faster with their letters was feeling so horrible about themselves.

As you continued to re-read the letter a few more times, you realised the handwriting seemed familiar, as if you'd seen it before.

May 2nd

It was usual for you to visit your best friend the day after you received a letter and flowers from your 'secret admirer'. You would both sit on the sofa with a cup of (Favourite Drink) and you would tell Chuck about the most recent letter, or piece of poetry or whatever it was that month, and then you would describe the exact flowers sent to you, how they smelt, how the bright colours looked in your gloomy apartment. Chuck would sit there in silence and listen, never saying a word.

This month, as you were heading over, you received a text.

Sorry, I won't be in for your visit today. Another time? - Chuck

He wasn't in? Chuck was always in, writing and working on his newest book, sleeping maybe, or drinking. You decided to go to the cafe nearby, as you were already out and there was no point in going straight back home.

Sitting in a little cafe, sipping your coffee, you made the sudden decision to write back. Rummaging through your bag, you found a notepad and a pen and you paused for a moment, almost putting them both back.

For about two hours you sat in that cafe, writing your letter until it was just the way you wanted. No spelling errors, nothing that you felt didn't belong. It was perfect.

May 31st

The letter was neatly folded, placed just outside your door. It had been a long month, waiting for when you could finally communicate with your secret admirer, and you where excited, but terrified at what their reaction might be. This was your first attempt at contact with them and hopefully it would go well.

June 1st

The first thing you did when you woke was rush straight to your door, still in your pyjamas, and check for anything. To your surprise, the only thing there was a single note. No flowers, no elaborate poem proclaiming their love, just one piece of paper with only two words on it.
