The whole ride to her place I was thinking about how to tell my mate about myself.

Nothing is interesting, or cool, about me.

I have been living in the shadows practically my whole life.

'You know she won't care about what you have to offer. She already told you that. Plus Isabel keeps telling me that she loves me. Us. They love us man. We have the best mate in the world. You just have to be honest with her,' Bane said to me.

Knowing he was right, I was still scared.

Who could have thought that my life could change so drastically in less than 5 hours?

I had eaten the biggest meal I ever have and actually got full. I went to Walmart for the first time.

My mate even bought me some things from Walmart.

I really didn't want her to, but she looked sad when I didn't immediately want anything. I didn't even know what I got. I was too busy watching Lorie most of the time than paying attention to what was going on around us.

We'd been on the road for what felt like 15 minutes before we pulled onto a secluded dirt road.

I tightened my arms around the angel in front of me wondering where we could possibly be going. She drove for another minute or two before we entered through a large open gate.

'Okay, where the hell are we?' I thought, looking around. I sniffed the air, only catching the heavenly scent of my mate surrounding me on the whole property.

We pulled up to a very large two-story house. It looked like the house could fit our entire pack in there and there are over 200 wolves.

It was so much bigger than the one-story house I lived in that had definitely seen better days

I was still staring at the house in awe as we pulled into a garage. Only to be taken aback at how many cars were parked here.

There was also another motorcycle too. Lorie parked the one we were on right next to it.

Looking over, I counted 3 cars. Nice looking cars at that.

'How many people live here with my mate?' I wondered.

Clearly, this is her place.

I sniffed around one more time and came up blank once again for any other scents than my mate's. I looked over to her after the engine was off and I was done admiring the cars. She was standing with an arm extended towards me. I took it instantly and stood up as smoothly as I could.

I managed to get off the bike again without knocking it over so I will call that a success.

She smiled at me and began walking out of the garage but I pulled her back to me. With her eyes locked on mine, I almost forgot what I was going to say until I managed to regain my senses.
