Cara's POV:

I got to school and I was not impressed to see some prick stole my spot. I went into the spot next to it and got off my bike.

"Cara! There's a new kid!" Halley yelled coming towards me.

Halley's been my best friend since the day I was born. Literally she was born on the same day as me and we were in the same room.

"I know. The useless prick has his hog in my space." I groaned. One thing everyone in this school knows is that my space is where no one can go.

"I'm sorry, last time I checked there ain't no name on this space biker bitch." A husky male voice spoke.

"Right there. What does that say?" I said, pointing to writing on the ground.

"Cara Erikson. So little miss bitch has a name." He smirked. "Well Cara... I'm Asher. Asher Michaels."

"I like your attitude dick head. From now on you hang with us." I said, putting out my hand.

"Okay biker bitch. You got a friend in me." He smiled, shaking my hand

"Now get your fucking bike outta my spot." I hissed.

"Sorry, no can do. I'll park somewhere else tomorrow."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The day seemed to fly by. Asher was in most of my classes and he hung out with my group at lunch. He was actually a pretty decent guy. He hadn't stopped being a total dick head though.

"Cara, we're all going to go to the beach. You coming?" Halley asked.

"Um, yeah sure. Sounds fun." I mumbled. "I just gotta go home and get my shit."

"Cool, how bout we all meet at your place." She smiled.

"Yeah, okay. Asher, just text me when you leave your place and I'll send through my address."

"No need Cara. You live across the street from me, I saw your bike when I left this morning. I'm not a stalker."

"Okay, we'll see ya's at my place later." I smiled, starting my bike.

I sped away from the car park. I always love going to the beach. Except for the fact that everyone always stares at me. I'm attractive I admit, but I'm no super model. Yeah, I've got the big blue eyes, long blonde hair, tan skin and a bikini ready body. But I'm not all that hot.

I pulled up to my house and got off my bike.

"Hello Caroline darling!" My mother beamed, rushing towards me.

I've always seen my mother as a sort of Cruella De-Vil kinda person. She always wears a tight pencil skirt that restricts her walking, insanely high heels, fur coats, she's a fashion designer. Even the accent. Long story short, she doesn't approve of my lifestyle.

"What can I help you with this fine afternoon mother?" I asked.

"I need you and your friends to model for my new clothing line. It's nothing too girly, if anything it's more your style, you know, the leather, denim stuff." She beamed. God I hate it when she does that. "Oh, and we need male models too, so get some of them."

"They'll all be here soon, so ask them then." I sighed, walking to the door.

I went up to my room and dumped my stuff on my bed. On the bright side I would soon be laying on a sandy beach with my friends. Not in a confined space with my mother.

"Caroline! Halley is here!" My mother yelled. "I'm sending her up!"

I just dug through my wardrobe looking for a swimsuit, completely ignoring my mother.

"Cara, I swear to god, your mother gets creepier every time I see her."

"I know. By the way, she wants all of us to model her new line. She probably won't take no for an answer." I sighed, pulling my swimsuit off the rack and grabbing some cut off denim shorts.

We both got changed. It didn't take long, but by the end we both looked hella hot.

To be honest I was looking forward to going to the beach. I haven't been in forever and I've always loved it there.

"Caroline! I have wonderful news! All your friends agreed to model for my line!" My mother beamed as we walked down the stairs.

"Mother, will you stop calling me Caroline. That's not even the name on my birth certificate. My name is Cara." I gritted, grabbing my black converse.

"Darling, I do wish you would be polite when we have guests over. And actually wear clothes. Not this." She said gesturing to my outfit.

"They're my guests, and we're going to the beach. Plus you don't always need to look like you're going to a meeting with the fucking president. I'm Cara Erikson. Not Cara Mallor. Deal with it!" I huffed.

"I can't believe you kept your miserable father's surname. That man abandoned us, but you worship him like a false idol."

"He abandoned you! Not me! He still talks to me, he still sees me. He wants nothing to do with you!" I yelled, walking out the door, with my friends following behind.

"Damn, Cruella De-Vil is real?" Asher asked.

"Yep. And her name is Phillipa Mallor. Formerly Phillipa Mallor-Erikson." I spat throwing a rock at her car.

"Caroline Octavia Mallor! Don't you dare wreck my car." My mother yelled.

"It's Cara Bridgette Erikson! You can't just change my name when you and dad break up!"

"Look, Ms Mallor, I think what you should do, is step the fuck back. Clearly Cara doesn't want to talk to a bitch, so regather your thoughts, and become a mother, rather than a snobby bitch." Asher snapped, leading me to his bike. "You ain't riding in this mood."

Like I said. He's a decent guy.
