I go through my suitcase one more time making sure I have everything. Jake comes in and tells me we're leaving soon before leaving the room to get breakfast. As I pull my suitcase into the living room someone knocks on the door. I fly towards the door and open it expecting to see Ashton but instead I see Luke.
"Oh hey Luke! Jake just went down to get breakfast, he'll be back in like 10 minutes if you want to wait." I greet him.
"Oh yea ok." He answers walking in. We sit on the living room couch and talk about his band and what it's like to perform. We talk about my school life and what it's like to be in school. My phone buzzes in my back pocket as I receive a text from Ashton.
Ashton ;):
Do you have to leave today?
Me:
Yea :(
Ashton ;):
Come back to Sydney with us
Me:
I can't ash I have school
Ashton ;):
Just skip it ;)

Yea right, my parents would kill me
Ashton ;):

Me:
Whatever. Me and Jake are leaving soon and we didn't get to say bye :(

Me and Mikey are gonna come down in like 5 mins, don't worry ;)
I smile at my phone but instantly wipe it off when I see Luke staring at me like I'm crazy. Luke continues on about how much he loves his fans when my phone buzzes again but this time it's a call from Ashton.
"Hello?" I answer. No one answers on the other line. "Hello?" I repeat. No answer. I'm about to hang up when I hear Michael speaking.
"But dude she's literally so hot just ask her out."
"Yea I know, Carmen's great," Ashton says to him. "But i don't know man I'm pretty nervous."
My heart drops. Who's carmen? How could he ask her out?
"Just do it!" Michael continues.
"Ok...ill do it. Just don't tell anyone, especially not my princess." Ashton replies.
Tears well in my eyes and a knot forms in my throat. I'm his princess. But he's not asking me out he's asking Carmen. I practically laugh at the name. How could I be so stupid and fall for someone in a week. But that's what I get, right?
I grab my suitcase and pull it towards the door.
"Hey where are you going? Aren't you guys leaving later?" Luke says trying to stop me. I just ignore him and head down the hall. I'm lucky enough to pass Ashton and Michael on the way to the lobby.
"Hey Sam we were just coming to say goodbye." Ashton says flashing me that smile. But now I know it's fake. I push past him and keep walking.
"Sam. Hey Sam, what's wrong?" I continue to ignore him. He grabs my shoulder and spins me sound towards him. "Hey, princess, what's wrong?"
"Nothing I just gotta go." I lie.
"Yea that's why we came to say goodbye, haha." He leans in for a hug but I shove him off. "I said I gotta go. Bye Ashton."
"Wait Sam, come back! Sam wait up! Scarlett!"
A tear rolls down my face when I hear him say my name. We moved to fast and I got hurt. Thanks feelings, you fucked up again.
