Music assignment

Sam's POV
Another Monday came about, it was 2nd period and I have my elective class which was music, I wasn't surprised to see Chris, Ethan and Jakob there. I go sit down next to them and we all start chatting about the party. But I can't help think about the kiss and I think Chris is thinking the same because he looks at me and smiles cheekily.
The teacher walks in, he looks quite young. He stumbles around with sheets of paper as he sits at his desk.
"Good morning year 10 I'm Mr Redford I will be having you for music this year." He says as he takes a big deep breath and exhales dramatically.
"I know you don't want any work or assessments now but I have to see how skilled you are and what your best and worst areas are." He says as everyone groans. "Oh come on! We will be going around the class and saying what instrument you play" he explains
People say their answers then it gets to my turn.
"I sing and can play the guitar, piano and drums" I say
"Impressive!" Mr Redford says excitedly
Once everyone has finished mr Redford says "Ok so I will be getting you into pairs and assessing your skills at presenting a song of you and your partners choice!" He starts to read out the pairs
"Ethan and Gemma"
"Jakob and Lilly"
"And last but not least Chris and Samantha" he announces
"Be quick to choose you songs and practice so you can perform at the end of the lesson so you may start" he says
Chris and I walk to the sound booth.
"So Sam what's your favourite song?" Chris asks
"Oh I don't have one" I respond
"Have you heard that song by years and years called eyes shut?" He asks
"Oh my gosh yeah I love it!" I say
"Do you want to do that song?" He asks
"Yeah for sure!" I reply

Chris sits at the piano and starts to play the intro. I sing

We finish the song and Chris stares at me in amazement
"What?" I ask
"That was like perfect" he says
"You weren't so bad yourself, TVK and the X factor taught you well padu-wan" I laugh and he does a hot smile back at me.
"I could listen to that laugh all day"he says as I uncontrollably blush.
We go back in the class room and people start performing their songs.
We go the from of the class room and start to sing. It sounds even better than before. Mr Redford's jaw drops.
We finish and Chris and I high five
"Wow that was amazing your voices suit each other perfectly" Me Redford says
At the end of the lesson*
"So your homework is to get together with your previous partner and compose your own song, so go to each other's houses or meet up and write and practice no stealing lyrics it has to be from scratch, this is due on Wednesday so you have two days to complete a rough idea of your song then we'll work on them in class and perform them to everyone" the says as we pack up and walk out.
**bell rings for home time**
I walk to the bus stop and Chris runs after me.
"Hey Sammy!" He calls out. I turn around.
"I like the nickname" I say as he catches up to me
"Mm good" he say as he puts his arm around my shoulder
"Do you want to come to my place after school and write that song?" He asks
"Yeah cool I'll just tell my mum" I say whipping out my phone and texting her
We get on the bus and sit at the back with Jakob and Ethan who is now making out with Gemma.
"Mm how romantic Etho" Jakob says
We get to Chris stop which is right outside his house. We both get off and Chris intertwines his fingers with mine. We reach his front door and he wraps his arms around my waist and lightly kisses me on the lips.
"I was waiting for that all day!" He says
"YEaH GET IT ON CHRiS!!!" Ethan and Jakob shout from the bus window and Chris puts up the rude finger at them.
He unlocks the door and walks inside. I see two older boys playing x box one shouting at the screen as he crashes.
"Hey guys"Chris says
"This is my friend Sammy" he says
They both turn to me.
"Hi I'm Aaron" the taller one says
"I'm mike"says the other one
"Aah- we'll be upstairs"Chris says
"Oh do you need protection?" Aaron winks at me
"Oh fuck off Aaron! We're doing an assignment!" Chris says in a pissed off tone
"Bro I'm kidding!" Aaron laughs
We go up to his room and he starts to pluck away at his guitar.
"So let's get started"he says
*skip song writing and practicing
"Your voice is amazing" I say
"Yours too" he says landing small kisses on my jawline then moving up to my mouth, his lips were soft.
Chris' POV
My tongue explores inside her mouth and I pull her closer by her waist so that she is now straddling me on the bed. We kiss harder and faster moving closer and closer so that our bodies are fully touching.
The door bursts open and Aaron runs in as we quickly push off each other.
"You sure you don't want one?" He asks
"GET OUT!" I shout
"I'm just proud of you!" He says wiping away imaginary tears.
"What did I do to deserve this" I mutters
"Ok well I'll leave you, oh and it looks like your more than friends now" Mike laughs wiggling his eyes brows and they both go out.
"Well I should go" Sam says getting off the bed we walk downstairs and I hug Sam goodbye at the door.
"Well uh- I'll see you tomorrow" Sam says
Wait I'll drive you home" I insist
You get in the car and drive her home.
"Uh Chris, what does this make us, are we just friends or..." She drifts off
"Listen Sammy I want to be more than friend but I didn't know whether you wanted that to, I guess what I'm trying to say is Samantha Green will you be my girlfriend?" I ask
She wraps her arms around my neck and we have a slow sweet kiss before we both pull away.
"That was nice" I say
"Hey do you want to meet my mum?"
She asks
"Um yeah sure, but what about your dad can I meet him too?"
"Well that's the thing he kind of left my mum when she found out she was having a second child because he didn't the responsibility so I haven't seen him pretty much all my life except for my birthday some times I don't see him for years then he randomly shows up" she says with tears in her eyes
"It's ok I'll just meet your mum" I say cheering her up.
We walk to the front door and the door is opened by her mum.
"Hi Sam whose this?" She asks
"This in my boyfriend-" Sam says
"I'm Chris, Chris Lanzon" I say
"Wait Lanzon... Is your mums name Debbie?"
"Yeah.. How did you know?" I ask
